I find that both ML and FL are too old for the age of the characters they are playing.. The FL is supposed to be a teenager and the ML in his late twenties.. But both appear to be in their Mid thirties.. They FL however did a great job of playing the childish role in the beginning.
Why do women always have to get the brunt when it comes to contraception? Why couldn't Xiao Qi sterilize himself…
They don't live in modern world where male can have vasectomy. Even today the pills are there only for female.. there is no male pill... The research is being done but there is no 100% success so far..
Yeah I feel the same way as you..under youku is so devastated..its seems tencent focus only big actress/actor…
I wanted to check out the drama and then put in under my "Plan to watch" list.. but I suddenly found myself on Ep 31... Since we have reached an end for the first part of the drama.. i.e Fight for succession.. I will put this on hold for a month.. and will watch the second half in one shot.. I made the mistake of starting of unfinished drama once again ...
Oh I hate the fact that Xiaoqi let Helan Zhen live. He should have been killed! Forget whatever political reason…
I disagree. If he was killed.. the enemy would have attacked the borders when the ML went to suppress the rebellion's led by King's brother. By allowing him to live.. he raised internal conflicts in the enemy camp.., If the enemy empire had a steady ruler, they would have launched an attack right after the rebellion. The ML will then would have fought a long bloody war. Now he didn't had to.. which saved the life of his soldiers.
For him saving the life of his soldiers is more important than getting a revenge and I agree with him. ( this is based on my watching the show upto Ep 31. If you guys have any seen any major developments in next 10 episodes, then I am not sure of it).
Wow Ep 30-31!!! So much happened so fast. I feel sorry for the Ma Princess aka Awu's mother :(. She died by suicide,…
The PM is sad.. that's why he abandoned his wish for throne.. If he wasn't sad... he would have just held the crown prince at sword point and faught against his son in law.. Instead he ran towards his wife...
The next big thing is going to be the Empress. I suspect she is going to launch attacks on our FL and will hope to eradicate the Wang Family. Also I am expecting the relationship between our MC will go sour. We can expect a temporary breakup.
Also another bigger issue is the women and the kid our ML visited secretly. He was searching them for a long time. I suspect she is the princess who was supposed to be dead ( The King mentioned his daughter all of a sudden on his death bed. She was never discussed through the drama and suddenly brought up.. it was for a reason.) but our FL will misunderstand the situation for sure. She will think that she is ML's lover..
Also they haven't gone in detail about the ML's background. They have touched upon only 2 stories about him so far from his past.
Just started watching and suddenly I find myself on Ep 7... The court politics is done brilliantly. .. With 3 teams playing on the field..it keeps the things interesting... We are still in the early phase, setting up the background for the MC... I am now excited to see MC and when will their action begin..
Good drama but not a great one.. I think the drama focused too much on impending death which made it a little uninteresting. Instead of brooding over impending death, they could have focused more on the storyline.
i think the drama is definitely purposely edited like this, its a risk using this kind of a way of telling a story…
I will wait till the series is fully telecasted.. I binge my series. Already regretting starting Legend of Fei before its completion. But if this is anything like Legend of Fei.. I will give it a shot.

I haven't seen the drama yet but this kind of setting usually means the plot is uninteresting so they force the suspense by cutting off the scenes and moving it to next sequence..

Yes, I have always wondered about this concept of "How you can leave before your boss". Things don't work like that here in India. We leave at our specified time except in case of emergency. Also we get paid for that extra effort. Except for small companies, we have unions to protect the employees interest. When I watch k-dramas.. its like everyone is working till midnight bcs of work overload... In India, we will put up the work for next day and the management will hire additional help instead of bcs we won't ever complete that work by working for 13-14 hours.
yah me tooo everybody said that there's gonna be a cliffhanger and I don't want to be kept on the hook waiting…
Haven't seen that one.. bcs of the Reverse Harem tag on it.. I can never watch a drama where the ML has multiple wives or a FL who has many pursuers ( Bcs they can't have many husbands lol). That's the reason I haven't watched many of the Wuxia C Dramas even though its my favorite type of C Drama.

I would like to add something here. From my prospective, when a couple is in a relationship with marriage in mind, who owns the money is not something I even care to think about. I consider it as "We" in that prospective. perhaps bcs this is the practice in place at our home. All our properties were bought in my mothers name. Even though the ML owns the restaurant on paper, once they marry... I would say they co-own it... If we don't think it from that prospective... then its really not love and marriage in real sense.

I said statically. Women sacrifice their career for their family. I never said they should. There is a difference. The happened bcs of human psychology
For instance - I said statically but you perceived that it was my thought. This is the common issue with many of the feminist of modern era bcs they have it in their mind that "all" men want to suppress women.. Most people fail to read the words of importance like "Statically", "Most", "Many" bcs their brain get into defensive mode.
Oh no...so much can go wrong with this kind of plot. I can already picture the mother trying to get that son-in-law…
I had similar thought when I read the description.. I thought what if the mom kisses the SML in front of ML to make her breakup with ML.. But then my mind rewinded.. its a traditional Korea.. the MIL will never kiss her SIL..
