This is the nth drama I watched where the rich male lead graduated from some American or European university.…
A lot of wealthy Asian parents tend to send the rich heirs to study in foreign universities. For example, Raymond Lam was sent to California to study real estate. The parents want to invest their money in to their children's education by sending them overseas for college.
All of your favorite HK stars have been promoted to lead roles. Linda, and Nancy are pretty. I'm still waiting for Linda Chung to be awarded the most favorite main actress award in Hong Kong. I rarely watch Korean drama because I need English subtitles though.
He often has that hairstyle ever since he debuted in the original Boyz with Steven. However, he does look younger…
He was a personal friend of Twins so Gillian and Charlene heavily promoted Boyz. They invited Kenny and Steven to their concerts as guests. Kenny sings primarily Cantonese songs. He also collaborates with other HK singers like Isabella Leong. He was originally in a duo band with Steven called Boyz. But they split, and he went solo.
She is different from most Japanese actresses. She isn't stiff, and expressionless. She has a colorful personality. She is funny. She has lots of reactions, and is pretty fun to watch.
I agree with your perspective. I found the movie really dull as well, and the acting was average. Your review was actually helpful. I wish I read it before I watched the movie. All the other reviews seemed wrong.
Hey I saw your list, and was inspired to make my own! It was very interesting. It's the first time I seen a blacklist on a site before. But mine only has Japanese actresses at the moment. I really dislike Tsubasa Honda.
This show is really enjoyable. It's the live action of a manga (I have yet to read). The manga is about a monk who has undying love for an English teacher. This show also switches from English to Japanese dialogue. The cast work in an elite English school. Note: the actors and actresses are Japanese. Therefore, their English isn't very fluent. But you can understand the male actors pronounce English words. Ishihara Satomi needs a lot of work on her English skills though.
Feedback on the Characters: The actors, and actresses were decent. Ishihara Satomi had a lot of expressions, and Hayamai Mokomichi was a great support character. I actually watched an interview with Furukawa Yuki and his English is fluent. He actually lived in Canada, and New York before.
Best actor in Liar Game! Fukunaga might not be the prettiest character but he had the best expressions and acting skills in the whole show! It made the show enjoyable.
I was obsessed with this show as a kid. I really enjoyed the Twins song that played as background music during the fencing shows. I also liked watching fresh new actors and actresses starting up.
