It's not the greatest show out there, but it took a very subpar webtoon/source material and made something more than entertaining out of it. For that alone, the actors and staff deserve respect. It's also doing decently well in Korea, it'll probably hit 10% ratings for a few of the final episodes.

OCN and romance? Interesting, doubt it'll actually be much, the premise looks interesting.

Bastard would've been perfect, especially considering it's completed (and better). Regardless, looking forward to seeing how they adapt the monsters. Could make or break the show.

lmao, the source material that this is based on is halfway to hentai. Now I have no problems with stuff like that, but I'm very interested as to how a webtoon with such a basic story managed to cast two massive actors like this. I mean, I'd like to joke, but the webtoon is questionable lol; it's something I could imagine writing/reading when I was 12.

Korea doesn't have the greatest rep regarding the portrayal of mental illnesses, so here's to hoping this show at least makes good progress on that. With the nonsense that is "Born Again", you would think everyone dealing with stuff like this is plain crazy. These are very delicate issues, and it would be nice to see it shown as such.

completely fell in love with the female lead watching this show. My new favorite up and coming actress. I could listen to her voice all day.

On another note, I thought I was watching Twilight with the number of still scenes of them just staring at each other. It was cool the first couple times, but it was just straight comical after the 6th or 7th time the camera just focused on their deadpan faces. I understand considering how important beauty standards are in Korea, but the eye-candy was kinda forced at times. Hopefully, we get more substance added to the storyline next week because the potential is there, just the cheesiness is off the charts rn.

Ji Soo's existence is gonna bring two couples to fruition over the course of this show; one being her husband and the other her childhood love. In fact, her death probably served as a catapult for everyone around her to move on. How depressing is that? Gotta feel for the chick

bruh I'm in love.
Also God shouldn't make someone as beautiful as Chae Soo Bin.

Kim Tae Hee's character is obviously gonna be the driving force behind this show, but after watching the first two episodes, Min Jung is probably gonna be my favorite character. I really hope the writers have a good arc for her because she has the perfect blend of mystery and sadness around her. Hopefully, she has an impactful story because I lowkey want her to end up with the main lead. There's so much potential in her character.

Let this be Lee Jae Wook's rise to fame pls. Dude's perfect for Seojun, and he's a great actor on top of that. I'd rather not just have idols being cast for this.

Tell me he isn't perfect for Seojun in True Beauty. Dude looks exactly like him lol.

I read a great comment that perfectly describes the difference between Yi Seo and Soo Ah. Their personalities are extremely similar in that both of them want to prioritize their life, but a small difference in choosing to love made them go in opposing directions. Soo Ah made the choice of pursuing her goals and ambitions whereas Yi Seo followed her emotions and curiosity.
