I'm not sure about your comment. I think they made it a point to explain that the key is unique in the world but…
Your 1 point doesn't make any sense, why bother looking for the keys if you don't even have the box. To say it's a tiny plot hole is kind of brushing it aside, considering finding the set of keys has been central to the plot line.
So it's rather odd that the King and Lord Cheon are both looking for the keys, as the motivations for the contents of the box are diametrically opposite to each other. One wants to see the contents, the other wants it hidden/gone.
If neither have the box, it makes more sense they would want to find the box first, yet there's been no mention of this at all. For Lord Cheon, finding the box would mean destroying it or hiding it, not trying to open it. Unless if there's something else in the box that hasn't been mentioned.
Anyway I just can't stand obvious plot holes that defy simple logic.
I'm not sure if anyone's mentioned it, but the primary premise of the story, the two pieced key, is so incredibly flawed. I mean this isn't some show based on magic where the box is magically sealed by the two pieces of the key. So at this point, It's not the keys that are important, it's the box. You're telling me that somehow they can't open a locked wooden box? If the box were missing, then the keys aren't important in the first place. Not sure if the writers thought this through, I'm sure someone would have mentioned this obvious flaw. I guess it's too stupid to have to lug around a box, so they made it about keys.
This is a classic case of 'the sum is greater than the parts'. Individually I don't think any of the quartet steals/overpower the show, however, the storytelling makes their ensemble a delight. Still waiting for some more in-depth development of the characters of Cheon Jun Hwa and Ko Su Ra. Still wondering how Ko Su Ra ties into the other trio.
The SOLUTIONS portion of the show was actually pretty fun, but too short. Unfortunately when they moved on to the main plot line, the writers decided to just shoehorn situations such that they produce the outcomes they wanted. Making characters do stupid things for no other reason other than to move the plot in the way the writers wanted.
Kang Ki Young would've better cast in a rom-com as a lead. This isn't one so that wastes most of his comedic talent. Maybe he's trying to branch out, but this really isn't his forte.
This is the similar procedure in most Western countries. The ceremony is the religious/ceremonial aspect, then…
The paperwork is the legal aspect, so that can be separate from the religious ceremony. But in essence your country does the same, and if you look at them as two separate acts, they do not necessarily need to be done simultaneously.
I have watched 6 eps nd put it on hold. I just wanna know whether in further episodes if there will be a separation…
Technically there is a separation, albeit briefly and resolved within the same episode. If you watched enough Korean romance dramas, there's always a break, some longer than other. This one is rather short.
can somone more familiar with Korea rxplain to me one thing - so in ep 6 they got married, but in the last ep…
This is the similar procedure in most Western countries. The ceremony is the religious/ceremonial aspect, then the legal aspect is actually filing for the official marriage certificate with the state/country. This is not a specific Korean custom.
The ending, while in a lot of ways satisfactory, it does leave some loose ends. Keum-ah and Dae-geun’s relationship…
I assume that DG and GA was dropped because if they were together then NC and GA wouldn't be. So it was just an unfortunate consequence of the story putting NC and GA back together. And the fact that both kids were shown in the story to have known, it provides more of an impetus for the story to put their family back together. Unlike Mi Poong who was too young and didn't know the situation.
As for EK selling BD's designs, the story already explained enough. While she did sell the designs, she only sold what she thought was discarded designs and certainly didn't intend for the designs used in the way it was used. While she certainly should take some blame, the one who ruined BD wasn't EK, it was the lady who mass produced the cheap copies. EK never intended for her actions to ruin BD's buisness.
Reminder: This is Writer’s Moon Young Nam‘s drama. Not Yours not MineIf she wants the ending like that then…
Honestly, The Penthouse series is way more of a makjang than this series. Outside of the two families being intertwined, if you just looked at each individual relationship on their own, this story isn't all that crazy.
The story did a good job developing the EK/BD and ES/NC relationships. Thought EK/CW was weak/underdeveloped and CW especially was more of a story line mover than main character.
Happy ending for everyone and i'm ok with that tbh, nearly shed tears. Ba Da finally realized that she was being…
BD exposing EK served a couple of purpose. One for the story to expose the underlying secrets which hadn't be totally revealed yet. Second, it gave BD a glimpse into EK's situations and her motivations which prompted the eventual understanding and forgiveness.
As for EK, that move was the story's way of punishing her. The story needed EK to atone for her sins in order to be forgiven, and this was the punishment that was chosen for her. Yes the move was dramatic and it is a drama so there will be such moves.
Am I only one who like Eun San & Nam Cheol as couple? 🤔 I'm only enjoying secondary couple's story more than…
That couple had the most screen time as a romantic couple than the other two. As far as romantic relationships goes, ES and NC had the most emotional impact. I thought EK and CW's romantic portion of their relationship was a bit stunted as most of the time it revolved around the guilt felt towards BD. By and large, they had the least amount of romance screen time and without any backing story. Even though DG and GA's relationship started out later, they had more romantic screen time than that of EK and CW. Not to mention that they already had a backing story to their romance.
The main couple's romantic story was by far the most underdeveloped and weakest of the three couples. As far as story development goes, it certainly felt like ES and NC was the most like couple to stay together.
