my 2 cents about it: Imo, to Shuxin, Xiao Lanhua is more than a character and acting, that's why she immersed in as Xiao Lanhua character so deeply! She put herself on Xiao Lanhua's shoes and respons in the prespective of Xiao Lanhua automaticly! The way she sympatize with DFCQ pain :'( 🥹. She knew well that Xiao Lanhua is a crybaby, soft person and can't stand to see his loved ones sad and cry, so she cries with him, feels along the pain of DFCQ. 🤧🥹
She love Xiao LanHua so much, that's why she can relate to her so much! Also, She loves CangLanJue so much until she had more than 2000 CangLanJue related picts&vids. When she was having a hard time filming a difficult scene, she said she was sorry to the fans, promised to do better and she said that no one can help her but herself so she should be eager to learn more. Before CLJ airing, she also wrote a whole note about hoping that the story of their summer journey with CangLanJue can be conveyed well to the audience.

Just had time to stop by at MDL. just wanna say that these days CangLanJue is the source of my happiness❤️. i just love the drama so much!🥰. i've been waiting for this drama for a long & luckily it didn't disappoint! although the drama is a little different from the novel, but that's what makes it unique in my opinion, CLJ managed to show many new and refreshing thing (such as XLH & DFCQ background story, it's more helpful to make us understand more of their character) while still maintaining the fun and classic plot of the original novel (such as the fun body swapping thingy). and i want to say Esther Yu and Dylan Wang are really the perfect cast for XLH and DFCQ✨. they really bring their characters to life just what i imagined from the novel. they really nailed they character and bring justice to it! i really love their chemistry and dynamic💕. also i want to praise that the CGI in this drama is on a whole another level i'd say! Chenyao's participation as the second lead in this drama is uncertain because there has been no announcement about who the second lead will be in this drama so far. but if you look at the character of the second lead game, chenyao is a suitable candidate to play luo zhao yan (2nd fml char name) because lzy's character is a girl who pretends to be a boy (cross-dressed fml) which is often played by chenyao. Izy also has a strong and calm character which is more suitable for Chenyao to play.
