Just finished the episode. This was a really good episode EXCEPT for the offensive Indian/Sikh/Punjabi scene. As an actual Indian, though I appreciate Bollywood being appreciated internationally, that entire bit just felt as though it was mocking us. I didn't enjoy it at all. Hopefully, GMMTV can learn from this. You can disagree or agree with me, but unless it's your culture that's affected, I really don't care about your opinion.
Ignoring that, I am really enjoying the main couple. It's a pretty cheesy plot, but the comedy keeps it light and interesting. The biggest smile comes onto my face whenever Mork or Mueang Nan is on the screen! They're both so beautiful. Not sure why there are 12 episodes because it currently seems like a show that could wrap up soon. Looking forward to next Friday :)
This one is the most successful?! I'm so surprised, I can not believe it! it's not sotus?!or type and turn?
Most definitely. The Youtube views are extremely high for a BL (Consistently between 5-10M for each quarter of an episode). Its international success was pushed further when it was put on Netflix. A lot of my friends who don't watch BLs have watched this show. Its success can also be seen on how popular the main actors, especially Bright, have become.
Sotus was popular during its time and only within the BL community. TharnType was quite successful internationally, but not as successful as 2gether.
In my opinion, the show is good and I even preferred it to the first season. But, it is really overrated. Deserves an 8.3 rating at most.
The acting was the best component in this show. The cast did an amazing job. The main couple had really good chemistry. But, it was a waste because their storyline was boring, especially during the second half.
In fact, the overall plot of the show was weak as there wasn't anything particularly exciting. It was quite messy as well, with some plot holes here and there. I was honestly just watching for Shou Yi & Zhenxuan.
It's a great BL to watch. But, is it one of the best BLs I've watched? Most definitely not. Nonetheless, I would still recommend BL fans to watch this.
Also, a lot of people have been comparing ATOTS and ITSAY, which is valid because these two have really raised the standard for BLs. It's fine to have your opinions (Personally, they were tied all the way but ATOTS ending gave it a slight edge). However, please do not trash one show just to bring up the other. Just enjoy both.
You're entitled to your own opinions... but people saying this was "slow-paced"? This show was realistic in the sense that it takes time for actual romantic feelings to grow, and that there are issues along the way for that. If you're looking for a series where the build-up for romance made no sense, and it was just followed by a bunch of sexual scenes, then that's a you problem, not the show's.
I think recent viewers of this show would find it disappointing because their expectations were raised considering that this is the most successful BL so far.
It's funny because before this was released, expectations for the series were low. Trailers weren't great and no one was excited about its release. I think this was why a lot of us (including me) were sort of impressed when it turned out to be decent during the first few episodes.
Is the acting and plot amazing? - No, but at least the actors are really hot. Are there other BLs that deserved its success? - Yes, I can easily name like 15 others. However, is it still worth watching? - Yes. Especially if you're bored and running out of shows to watch.
You need to put a spoiler warning on your comment. The step-brother situation is the most intense and dramatically…
Please, I will enjoy continue to enjoy QUALITY BL's with sexual scenes that are still between two consenting adults. Surprise, surprise! That's the trend these days!
It's sad and concerning how you're trying to make yourself seem less disgusting by simply denying that there wasn't a rape scene... and then calling people who are criticizing the rape scene as "SJWs". Get real buddy, you're a freak who needs help !

Not putting a spoiler alert considering rape is already mentioned up in the tags and I haven't spoiled anything else.
In terms of cutting out the scene, I am talking about the way the show was written, not censoring it after it was released. It was unnecessary because there could've been other ways as to how the younger brother could've approached the older brother. The scene being "intense and dramatically gripping" shouldn't be an excuse for that. Have we not yet established that rape shouldn't be used in a storyline that develops into romance?
Super mixed reaction to this show so far. The rape scene was terrible and extremely unnecessary. They should've just cut it out. Put that aside, and the show is actually pretty good and enjoyable. It's sad because they've pretty much ruined the stepbrother couple (which tbh is the hotter couple).
No cxe overhyped are like 2gether or those engineers boy love series. YOU CANT CALL IT Overhyped as it not that…
Once again, my personal opinion:
1. It's actually quite famous as I've seen a lot of people praising and talking about it on Twitter. 2. Adult dramas don't necessarily equate to being better. You can't praise a drama just because it has a mature plot. 3. So what if it's a Taiwanese BL? Trapped, Boundary Crossing, Right or Wrong, Dark Blue and Moonlight, and Make Our Days Count are all Taiwanese BLs that are amazing and well-known... So what's your point?
It's as if GMMTV used this to lower our BL standards and then surprised us with ATOTS so that we would be extremely impressed/obsessed... If that was their plan, it worked.
Not bad but not great either. The writing wasn't that good because how in the world do you have 8 short episodes but yet so many skippable scenes? Nonetheless, the acting was alright )for the most part) and it was a pretty sweet story. Would still recommend watching :)
Definitely tied with To My Star for best Korean BL so far. The acting and production in both shows have been really impressive. Only issue is that they're too short :/
Sorry but the plot is a snoozefest. The acting isn't great either. This would be a good BL if it was released before 2019. But in a time where shows like UWMA, ITSAY, ATOTS, Cherry Magic, etc. are being released, it's really subpar. Aoey's story is the only thing stopping me from dropping the show.
Ignoring that, I am really enjoying the main couple. It's a pretty cheesy plot, but the comedy keeps it light and interesting.
