Don't get put off by the low rating or negative comments saying "this drama is bad". It's not. People just don't know how to differentiate "It's a bad drama" to "It's not my type of drama". You CANNOT go into this drama expecting any form of logic or any streotypical kdrama tropes. This is completely whacky, illogical, and funny. It's not a drama you need to think about, you just watch and laugh that's all and if you cannot handle weird dramas then this probably won't be for you.

I swear I felt like I was watching a webtoon when I was watching this drama. I know they said that chicken nuggets is based of a webtoon but usually when dramas say that, they change things up a bit to dramatise the storyline for a drama but chicken nugget.....bro this was HILARIOUS. Like....this is truly a comedy

Title A Killer Paradox Spoiler
Premise starts off strong. I know people say ep 1 is boring in the beginning but that's just to set the scene…
Oh no the last news headline is a new murder that Tang did when he came back to Korea after finding out he wasn't a wanted criminal. The ending is basically saying that till the very end, Tang was never remorseful over the actual of killing and when presented the opportunity to kill again. He immediately took it cause for him, that's his purpose in life. That's why you see Nangam looking so deeply at the headlines cause this pattern of killing is something he's seen before, it's the way how Tang himself kills and gets away with things

To be fair that's part of his "power". He can identify criminals and get away with any murder
You know one of the biggest plot hole personally was the first murder. They said the serial killer got whacked with a brick and died but you don't have to be a forensic analyst to know that the wound from a brick to the head looks very different compared to the wound from a hammer to the head. The shape and depth of the wound would be completely different and brick would have left residue in the wound.....I couldn't stop thinking about that for a bit but then I let it off for the sake of enjoying the show😭

Definitely breaks the normal KDRAMA formula. It's a bit trippy and uncomfortable almost the way they introduce the premise which can be boring/unsettling for those not used to it

Yeah that's why I say it's a "power". Dumb luck once or twice is dumb luck but I'm pretty sure dude has a strong of murders under his name of all bad guys and all with no evidence left behind...at that point it's something even if it's not supernatural

Title A Killer Paradox Spoiler
Ok so I slept on the drama so here's how I feel about it as someone who watches a lot of thrillers. Will post…
Premise starts off strong. I know people say ep 1 is boring in the beginning but that's just to set the scene of who Tang I, what kind of person he is, so that we can understand the decisions he took to become who he is now. I'd say the first 3-4 episodes were really strong cause you see Tang still battling with himself after every murder, his headspace completely fucked, first with guilt, later with fear of getting caught. Like all thriller dramas, I'd say ep 5-7 were the weakest in terms of keeping my attention. I did enjoy seeing Tang becoming a much more cold hearted person, less cowardly, but nonetheless it did bore me a little. Last episode came back strong especially the ending.

Loved the ending. Cause in this drama there's no rooting for Tang. Sure maybe the first murder which was accidental and in self defense, you might hope that Tang escapes, but after that.....you slowly see him for what he is, a psychopath. Yeah sure the show potrays him having this "power" where he gets goosebumps when he sees a bad person and decides to kill them. However go about it chronologically and you'll realise how psychopathic it is. Tang meets someone by accident, gets goosebumps for no fucking reason, takes it as a sign to murder them which he does, and by a stroke of luck said person was also evil in their own right. Tang was never well in his head and the ending where he comes back and does the same thing again when he realised that he'd been clear of any murder charges just goes to show how he has no remorse for his actions. He found his purpose in life and that is to kill. He's just lucky that everyone he killed was evil and he always got away with it. It's why we see Tang getting goosebumps when he sees himself in the mirror. His own "powers" are telling him that HE deserves to get killed.

I do wonder what would have happened had Tang killed someone who was completely innocent based on a broken radar like Song Chon did. Would it have broken Tang or would Tang have deluded himself into thinking he did right?

Need to agreeNetflix also shows warning that there is sex, violence etc so if anyone dislike these kind of things…
Yeah maybe it's cause I tend to watch a lot of the more 18+ thriller shows since I was young but usually most of them have a sex scene or two that's even longer than the ones in this show

Title A Killer Paradox Spoiler
I know a lot of people are comparing vigilante and a killer paradox saying it's similar and while it does share…
In a killer paradox, a large part of the show is how Tang kills people solely based of his "power" which is his ability to identify criminals and get away with an murder in terms of evidence. The show doesn't necessarily make you root for Tang in his murders cause it's random. He kills and then we find out the person he killed was bad. Even in the show it hinted how Tang himself was becoming what his powers would identify as an evil person worth killing (the scenes where he got goosebumps when he saw himself in the mirror)

In vigilante however there are no powers or anything involved. It's one person doing the whole investigation into a criminal who was let off by the justice system which cause jiyoung to take things into his hands. Jiyoung is a heartless killer, he does give chances for the criminals to turn themselves in and properly serve time etc. He only kills those deserving to be kills and he does all the research alone as well.

Idk how to explain this but Tang is more inhumane

I know a lot of people are comparing vigilante and a killer paradox saying it's similar and while it does share a similar concept I don't agree that the drama themselves are similar so if by chance you didn't like vigilante, still give a killer paradox a chance cause you might like it. I'll explain why I think they're different in the comments cause spoiler😭

I'm surprised at how disturbed everyone is by the sex scene...other than the case which involves a sex crime, for the one involving Lee Tang , i assumed it showed us the raw state of his mind, which was not in a good place. It was about 1/2 secs and easy skip scene...

Lee Tang is blessed by some higher power and only he can kill the psychos and not get caught and keep his humanity…
Robin wasn't prosecuted the first time cause as I understand it, there wasn't any evidence. Jang Nangam just knew about robin being involved cause of his killer instincts

could you please explain the last scene, I didn't get at all((
Last scene is basically showing that Lee Tang didn't change. He went right back to killing criminals that he found using his powers when he realised wasn't a wanted criminal in Korea. This is hinted by the news on the TV being eerily similar to what we used to hear in the first few episodes. When Tang stops and turns, he basically felt the goosebumps caused by the person he bumped into so that is basically his next victim

does anyone know what Lee tang and nan gam mean Netflix doesn’t provide any context like viki does
Tang = soup so Lee tang = this soup
Nan gam = trouble (the pun that the other officer made
Jang Nangam = Toy/joke (depends on context though I think in the show they lean towards the meaning of joke)
