Review
I absolutely loved this movie! It's a heartwarming romantic comedy with good acting, a well-written story, and an appealing cast. I thoroughly enjoyed it from beginning to end.
Friends-to-lovers is one of my favorite romance tropes, and this movie does a wonderful job with it. It's sweet, funny, and entertaining without losing the emotional side of the romance.
I would happily watch it again and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys romantic comedies, especially stories about friendship turning into something more!

I really enjoyed Palm and Gink's relationship. Their friendship had history, and I could understand why Palm struggled with the idea of risking it for something more. When you've loved someone for years, you don't want to lose them, but you also don't want to spend your life wondering what might have happened if you'd taken a chance.
I was glad Palm gave Gink the opportunity to resolve things with Ted rather than trying to force her to choose him. I wanted her to be with Palm because she genuinely wanted him.
I also had reservations about Ted. He seemed like a decent guy, but something about him gave me the impression that he might not be entirely faithful. The missing condom was a pretty significant detail, and I couldn't believe Gink never directly asked him about it! That deserved an explanation.
And then there's the monkey! The scene where Palm mistakes the monkey sitting behind him for Gink absolutely cracked me up. I haven't laughed out loud at a movie in a while, but that moment got me. It was just hilarious!
Ultimately, I loved how the friends-to-lovers storyline played out. The movie gave me exactly what I wanted: humor, chemistry, emotional moments, and a satisfying romantic payoff.
Definitely one I'd watch again! 10/10.
