This dog really deserved more screentime. I'm frustrated.

Yes, Second Leads Anonymous was the best comedy idea.
Vampire plot is weird, not common as a drama.
Scholar walking in the night, maybe.
The girl with bicycle remember a bit yoyo-kid in TKEM.

Favorite character : Hae Ji Wo (Mo Yong adoptive father).
I dream of a montage showing all the scenes with him.
Then I could train myself to speak as he do :
Never end my sentences on a low intonation.
Always have various high and suspended intonations during diction.

Thank you for suffering for me about HP, and confirming that I was right to drop this drama quickly too. :-)
There were other problems for this drama (see comments) besides being boring.
Someone told me that they like to play tracking games in this drama, guessing who is going to be a couple, or things like that. There has to be a reason why people like it, even though it's messy and boring. :-D

4 years later: why the cute little white dog never grew up?

I can feel your boredom.
I tried one or two episodes, then dropped.
Tried again one more, then dropped again.

I watched ep 4 to 7. Disapointing.
There is not so much kdrama parody now. I hardly smiled.
Something wrong in the story too, look too much like a american sitcom.
And bad idea to resume the episode before the episode. It give Spoilers.

Average Sageuk, KSH was cute and nice.
Anyway, I can watch almost any random drama of this actress, like a fanboy.

Why my opinion and analys should bother you ?

I watched episode 1. So, almost nothing missing from season 1.
Except a good line. The SFL said "we are a good team" in season 1, and here just "we are a good couple".
I prefer the original line, it fit more the parody of this kind of situation.

It's great, they added also korean subtitles when people speak in english.
Looking back, I don't understand why they didn't do that during season 1, it closed korean market a bit.
I watched quickly too, nothing important is missing, it look like the ending is different a little. They managed to better introduce season 2 content.
Overall, with season 1 + season 2 together, they managed to make a real drama. I didn't watched it yet, as I m on something else. But it should be an enjoyable watching.

This drama is so underrated!
It deserve at least 2/10 !

As I'm agree with the message of your article, some of the dramas you take as examples are really the worst ones about laughing. On me, they make the opposite effect, boring and annoying. Forced comedy, slapstick, over-the-top. People screaming, false-crying, or suddenly react out of context, hurting my ears, eyes and intelligence. Atrocious. Nightmare. Ulcer. Even when I was child, this couldn't make me laugh.

So here, it's not medecine, it's more like a disease.

For a good laugh, I need situational comedy, parody, tasty dialogs, or smart character design.
Let's take as examples : first episodes of "I'm not a robot", first meeting scene of "Crash landing on you". Or the whole drama "Psychopath diary", or "Feel good to die". It's go well with "Incarnation of money" too, as dark comedy and derision. Or many others dramas that make laugh with the story and the personnality of the character. "Empress Ki", first episodes with the coward ML.

Guys, you have an idea how great is the director.
But about writers, even best : Empress Ki and Giant writers !!!

It look like in episode 4, last 15 minutes are the Behind the scenes.
