See what the writer did here: not a second she goes into the shoes of the characters. She makes act the FL like the writer would act, because the writer already know he's a demon.
To compare to: Marry My Husband, end of ep 6 reveal scene.

It's a cheesy action scene to please the fans, and why not, it has a nice little "wow" effect. But when the details don't match, it just kill the story.
About the lines, there are a lot a catch sentences during the whole drama. On this thread, for fun, I improvised some to show many aren't so difficult to find.

He could as well go into "I'm demon.... devil demon". James Bond like.

People now think all is relative and subjective. Nope, I don't agree with that. It's not a question of opinion. There are objective reasons why this script is so bad. I even made a list of that. I mean, as I'm watching something bad, as well to not waste totally my time and take instructive notes useful for writing.

Yeah, I'm fed-up she chose so many rom-com, always same kind of light role. I don't see how she can evolve as actress with that. Actors enough lucky get one day "the role of their life", and it's not done yet for her.

I don't remember so bad writing in a kdrama.
Some scenes of first episodes give me proof the writer could do good, but I'm in shock it goes so bad after that. There is a problem of structure on the whole. Not enough content for episode 7+. Making mostly fillers scenes of all kind, but boring like hell. I never watch something that boring. But not only, the writer doesn't respect the audience.

I think about the forced ending she wanted, and for building up that, she uses:
A huge plot-hole, a insufferable non-sens cliché, another inconsistency, and finally a deus ex-machina. Making characters acting stupid and out of logic. And this writer want to make us swallow that? I take that as an insult to intelligence.

She had better dramas when she was child actress.

People don't look for working, studying why they like or why they dislike something.

They look for a cult. Being in a trance, gaping, drooling, while staring at the puppy actors.
Then sharing their worshipping with other members of the cult, like prayers:
"oooh that chemistry... they are sooo cuuute... anyone saying otherwise is lying"
They made this forum their shrine. Criticizers are blasphemers desecrating it.

Hi. I'm cautious about information and made a quick search. I could only find an article 2 days ago with "no official confirmation". Other articles are more expectations, like it's always the case after a drama ends.

You mention plot-holes. Yes, they are huge here. And it's not the kind of drama that can afford them. They could be ok in "Escape of the Seven" because it's a self-aware drama, almost auto-parodic of the Makjang genre.

I agree when you say the actors can't save a bad script.
