Season 1 was so good! And ep 1 and 2 of this new season was already very entertaining and I'm so excited for what's yet to come. The whole cast is amazing, but William Chan just makes it so much better for me ?
The character of Lady Miao Qinhe definitely deserves praise in this drama. She is such a caring and well - mannered lady who deserves the emperor's love and I always look forward to her scenes (my favourite character). Also, the strong and courageous personality of the empress is something to admire and I hope to see more intimate interactions between her and the emperor as the drama progresses. On the other hand, I am rather skeptical about the character of Lady Zhang Bihan. So far, I am not a big fan of her personality and I guess every drama has someone like her that will bring chaos. However, I wish to find out how her character changes in the future and whether the emperor's favour towards her remains the same. Lastly, the father and daughter relationship in this drama is what has motivated me to continue watching it despite its slow progress. His love for Huirou is definitely not something you see in regular dramas of this kind. It's a good watch ☺️.
