Title Rebirth Spoiler
Ugghhh Why do they do this?! I was so stoked for this for the epic moments from the novel like the scene where she left Yanbei, we traded an EPIC exodus of her exit from Yanbei for amnesia+a side of chaotic wedding. In the novel, she and Yan Xun became estranged after the lake incident, she and the remnants of her Xiuli army withdrew from the army and went to live recluse lives, she focused on making the lives of the people better, earning their adoration for the economic prosperity she brought over the 2 years. Her final straw if memory serves was after Yan Xun killed his younger sister because he deemed her a threat to his rule, she finally gave up on him and realized that he had truly become what he despised, so she decided to leave.

Once Yan Xun got wind of this, he spread the news that she was leaving to set a trap to drag her back to him. He never poisoned her or messed with her memory, he clipped her powers and stayed apart BUT he never physically hurt or poisoned her. Once the people heard she was leaving, hundreds-thousands of them decided to follow her (even though he ousted her from the military, she was still able to make such a massive impact elsewhere). Yan Xun had also announced back at lake incident that she was the one who came up with the plan to use Zhuge Yue's love for her to trap him, so to all of Da Tong she was truly embedded as #2 right next to Yan Xun, him essentially trying to make sure there would be no place in this world for her but Yanbei. So, with the news that she had fallen out with Yan Xun and was leaving Yan Bei, Da Tong army were at the border waiting to receive her. Once her crew and the migration pack exited Yanbei, the border gates of Yanbei closed and they announced as per Yan Xun's order the gates will only re-open if Chu Xiao is the first person to enter. Yan Xun's desperate attempt to force her back using the people as leverage knowing she cared most about the people. She knew she would never get another chance to leave if she went back and refused to be caged, so they could only fight. She and the Xuili army of 300 stood between the people and an army of thousands for days, yet Yan Xun refused to open the gates for his people.

In end, an unknown lethal force (naturally Zhuge Yue, now the King of the Ximin), swooped down in collaboration with Li Ce's army and opened an escape route for her...instead we got some imposter schemer on schemer wedding and another lake fall, THE HELL! I really wanted to like this too.... đŸ˜«

I stopped at “made his mom villain to him” like his mom is indeed evil and villain. Partnering with Ah Jin’s…
THIS! This was what irked me so much about his betrayal, he didn't give the real story behind the things that happened and simply painted her a full-on monster, but I guess he really was just out to destroy her, not give an factual documentary on her life. How she did not jump to kill him on sight is beyond me because I would be so livid?! And to top it off, the dude tries to kill her, and then people expect her to be sympathetic to him dying as if dude did not just ruin her life and then try to kill her....Like the HELL!

Ah jin still showed remorse for Jae Oh ( she called him and when he didn't answer , she cried in the bathroom,)…
...Not to mention Jun Seo had just given her the betrayal of the century before trying to kill her, I don't blame her for not mourning his death in that moment.

it’s intresting to see how the character of Ahjin has even manipulated the viewers here to side with her, even…
Agreed, I don't support her, but I felt the fury in the way he destroyed her, I was like "it's on sight, dude!" He then had to audacity to come pick her up like nothing was wrong, I would have killed him. I don't know how she contained herself, but maybe she was also just tired too...I'm in the minority that find this ending more riveting than the manhwa ending, it felt like a fitting end to Joon Seo, it truly did seem like something he would do, dude had seemed on the edge since the beginning. It felt like she was his only tether to life, what did people think he was going to do - destroy her, send her to jail and sleep well at night?

Title Dear X Spoiler
Super hot take....So it seems I am the only one who prefers this ending to the purpoted ending of webtoon (I haven't read but I've heard about what happens). THIS makes more sense than her plotting to sleep with him to get a baby so she use keeping him out of their lives as the ultimate revenge. Imagine her fury over that expose which painted her as a complete monster, and then him having the audacity to drive up to her and ask "Where do you wanna go?" like he didn't just blow her life...ALSO he just let the psychopath walk?! I mean, that guy is infinitely more dangerous than Ah Jin! Also, I can't be the only person that thought that if the psychopath and sociopath want to go to war, let them fight and hope they take out each other in the process! His goody two shoes...Fine I understand that when two goliaths are fighting, the innocent bystanders will get dragged in and I want to believe that this what was Joon Seo was trying to achieve by destroying her, protecting the innocents casualties of their war from increasing...Anyway, in my mind, it was either he was going to do what he did or she was going to kill him. The idea that she'd sleep with him and fool him into sleeping with her to have her revenge did not appeal to me.

As for Jae Oh, my dude...there's tons of other great out in the world, that one was painful...He was just so sooo....dude should have attempted to go live his life.

Lmao, the problem didn’t start from his house, she literally left her own mother to die
While she may have had already her issues by then (consequence of her parental abuse) - her disorder is very much a consequence of nurture. Not saying she would have been all good if the stepmother treated her well, but I do believe she wouldn't have turned out this bad. There are several turning points in her life that make her get worse and worse - The ones we are shown that are key are: 1) Finding out Jun Seo's mom and her father wanting to s*x traffic her and then abandon her. 2) Her having to jump off that balcony to protect herself. 3) Losing her spot at uni because her dad took her money and beat her unconscious for days...and finally, the grandma's death. These were all moments that sent her into doing worse and worse things to ensure her "survival" i.e. that she would come out on top.

Possible reasons she kept Sunghee in the house, since so many people claim it makes no sense: 1.she couldn't be…
I think it's 1, she just didn't care and she just considered her that insignificant that she didn't even consider her a real threat who could poison her or something - the real truth is she probably doesn't even care if she does it. If it kills her, cool BUT if she doesn't die, she would finally care to be bothered to destroy her.

to think Ahjin is dumb enough to walk into Dohyuck's trap is crazy...
She wasn't being dumb, she just went with the best option for her plan for success. She was suspicious, but it wasn't worth turning down the opportunity to her as it was the best option to get out of the bind she was in. She's known to gamble like this, weighing pros vs cons even with her own life on the line, so this is right on brand for her. The same way he wiped her record and gave her this chance to rise, she knew he would viciously take it all back and more leaving her worse off if she turned him down, so she went along with it to reap the benefits.

Maybe I think ajin already pregnant? (there was a previous scene on other episode when ajin used junseo shirt),…
Nah, they showed her taking meds for her period...Also, the scene with her shirt was even before In Gan, so it's been a long, long while.

If it were Jun seo, he would rush in there and help. It seems like her fiancĂ© doesn't care about her. But why…
He wants entertainment. As he told her, it's boring always getting everything he wants. He is the version of Ah Jin that grew up with no struggle in life, getting everything he wanted with little effort - they get bored and recruit difficulty for the fun of it, she's his new toy. Ah Jin has been too busy clawing her way through life to elevate to the next level of true villain sociopath status who does bad things simply for the fun of it

Ahjin has been making hella dumb decisions lately, now a slave to wealth and fame, imagine getting married to…
The alternative was to become a washed up has been at best, but most likely end up back on trial for murder and go to jail - it was clear, this guy wouldn't have simply went "Oh, you don't wanna marry me. Okay, keep clean slate as a souvenir from a fan." He would wrecked her worse than her agency boss was going to do. It's no different from when she accepted to work with the agency boss to wipe her slate clean back then, it's all pros and cons with her

Ahjin is sociopath and jun seo is normal human
I wouldn't call Jun Seo normal either, they both need a huge dose of therapy to undo this toxic dependency.

I think it was the warmth of his family, particularly his grandma she fell in love with, not IG himself.
