I watched this drama bc i thought it was about three friends having the time of their lives until one of them goes to prison unfairly. I thought this was the whole plot in these 16 episodes. my first disappointment of this drama when I realised that this was not the case lmao
yang dong yoon went from being depressed about being in joseon exorcist and not accepting any roles for years to being in 4 dramas in one year. my dude was more on set than in his own bed this year
their memory gets wiped and they restart. basically they're in a endless loop of playing mafia.
I mean what happens to them when they die in the middle or beginning of the game? like that first guy who hot voted out in the first episode. does he just stay asleep? like in a coma?
If it's going to get cancelled, they should at least inform us instead of giving us nothing.
there was big news this year that around 80 projects got cancelled. they obviously don't inform the viewer. this drama could be one of the cancelled projects fyi
feeling bad for the drama community wuth all the snowdrop fans who think every time someone mentions jisoo in a comment section of a drama with a character named Jisoo - a pretty common name- is referring to the snowdrop actress. damn girl touch some grass
it's based on a novel but I LOVE how this drama resembles one so mich! you feel like you are reading a novel while watching this bc of the characters dialogues and the well edited past scenes with monologues reflecting what the character is thinking or referring to. this a warm hug on a cold winter night. thanks eun seob for being my ideal type of man. a quiet one who loves to read. that's me
it's the golden age of kdramas. many more fans are discovering mdl. it's honna be like anime fans on mal. as soon as another drama takes over they will up vote that drama to have their fave drama on top like they did with many anime after fullmetal alchemist brotherhood was dethroned from highest rated anime on mal. its gonna be annoying asf bc we didn't even fall that low when jisoo starred in snowdrop. gotta admit you were jot allowed to criticise her or the drama or say anything good about the other couples chemistry bc that would mean the main couple was insulted. the whole watching experience wasn't as funny neither here nor on dramacool since the comments were full of kpop fans who would cyber bully you (they sent me death threats on twitter dm) but at least it wasn't THIS chaotic and tbh I think its gonna be even more chaotic since kdramas will spread even more through disney plus, netflix and prime. Will miss the peaceful days of kdrama 🥹🥹
ofc there are people who got into it bc of the thriller ones but my impression is that there are far more bc of romance dramas. I feel like the general public did not even consider squid game a kdrama thus started watching bc of that. tbh I also don't know if I like my demon. it didn't capture my attention so far. I need to wtach ep 3 tho. so far I even like parks marriage story better. I liked and enjiyed true beauty back then bc the side character felt mich more alive than in other kdramas. i also LOVE xtraordnary you since both were produced by the same pd, the vibe was the same and the pd has the talent to make side characters just as important as thr main ones which was also the case ein extraordinary you. but if we compare true beauty to dramas like eaw then it's definitely not as good. but if you want a break and just enjoy some content without angst, its good
yes true but it still got its popularity outside of the community. I always see riktok comments who started wtaching bc of true beauty. that is what I mean when I compared them btw
okay first, true beauty is the best example to give bc it made the same noise as my demon now. Read my comment again. I didn't compare them storywise or budget wise or anything else. I compared them based on their POPULARITY. a lot of people say that started wtaching bc of true beauty. I've never seen anyone that started wtaching bc of the thriller ones. second the letters k and j are right besides each ither on my keyboard and I tend to text with typos. like I said I've been watching for year and I know what the k stands for. there also wasn't an edit option. the glory and moving were not as popular as my demon tho. maybe in the kdrama community but not as much as my demon outside of it. was never higher than top 9 or 8 on netflix germany. I just analysed it and we can actually say that people like romance and watch kdramas bc of the romance dramas. mo matter how cliche it can get like true beauty. but I gotta admit the cast of that drama and it being based on a popular webtoon had its advantages.
so in conclusion, watch what you want. my comment did not compare true beauty and my demon storywise or actingwise. idk why people need the urge to defend my demon so much to made true beauty a much worse drama than it actually is. I tend to write with typos. and people like romances that's why they start watching it. thriller dramas are less popular outside of kdrama world than romances too. and it wa say intention to compare true beauty and my demon popular wise bc they have the same popularity. do you get me now?
am I the only one thinking he looks like Myungsoo from infinite. I've been thinking this for year now but there's no other comparison between them except for mine ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
