I'm convinced that many people will start watching kdramas bc of this considering it also top 10 in several countries on netflix. I still haven't watched ep 3 but this drama is enjoyable but still doesn't feel like sth fresh? like there are a few dramas with the same formula which is great if you enjoy it but I wonder why people get thrown into the kdrama world by dramas like these. a few years ago it was true beauty and that drama was funny too but so many clichés. enjoy what you want guys, I'm not saying anything about that. it's just quite interesting how fresh ideas barely invites new watchers to the kdramas world but stories like these do. tbh we can all exclude squid game bc your white friend from school who only watched squid game downst even recognise it as a korean drama

I didn't check the ratings of mdl but my demon seems to br a drama which introduces newer kdrama fans to the kdrama world considering its top q0 in many countries which is rarely happening to a netflic Co production. fl also got many fans through 20th century girl. how it looks like kdramas are becoming more popular thus the wars are getting annoying anf being in the community will suck in the near future, espeocllay with netfkix dramas like sweet home and squid game dropping

I'm in Europe btw. my time zone is gmt :) it's not spoiler free btw okay here we go. in reading the quick summaries from the paiode on netflix and bas emu summaries on them. episode 5: mmokha meets the dad of the boys but gets rescued by bogyeol. ranjoo finds out that that mf of a president blocked all of the sales of her albums so that she won't sell 20 mil. thus, she won't be getting half of the shares of the company. so she contacts her old agency president to resell her old albums and he wants her to sing at his daughters wedding we find out that he sacrificed his family to make random a star. random first is insecure but after talking to mokha she's willing to sing there. woohak stalks the kibosh dad to find out more abiut him and you remember kihos friend? the one who knew where he was but wouldn't tell his dad a word? he hot into an accident. in episode 10 we find out that it was kihos dad who causes the car accident. our boy was in a coma but woke up in the latest scene of episode 10. episode 6: the biggest star of Korea eun morae gets introduced. if mokha never got stranded, morae would have never been a star since she was the second choice. ranjoo always told her that she wasn't hood enough that's why she got a bitchy attitude towards mokha and ranjoo, which is understandable tbh. morae is singing against ranjoo on that variety show to see who's bigger. but it's actually a scam from the agency since the president wants to manipulate ranjoo. like to tell her that she won't ever be as big as morae. woohak remembers his past. he and his brother, kiho, who's bogyeol lives under the roof with a man, their dad, who abuses them physically. one day their dad takes a chair to throw it on bogyoul yet woohak gets protective over his little brother and throws himself in front of him. he gets into a coma and is hospitalised. their dad needs to work on the island where mokha is from. their mum stays behind since she needs to take care of their unconscious son. she tells kiho to run away when there's an opportunity. she told him where she would leave information abiut their new house. anyway, their mum wanted to change their names but it wanst possible. I don't remember the reaosn. the worker which was assigned to her, is her current husband and they fell in love. he helped them to get new identities from a family who disappeared years ago. in ep 10 we find out that the family committed suicide and drive the car into a lake. it was prolly the couple and they took the little kids with them. After succesgully running away to his mum, woohak woke up and didn't even know that his stepdad wanst his real dad. but they lived happily ever after anyway. episode 7: back to the singing competition. morae wanted to prerecord her performance and lip sync to it during the live event. bogyeol didn't want it tho, since he's the main pd. he also told ranjoo to stop lip syncing. so she made a brave choice and revealed what she did and that mokha was the rela one singing who also sang live after winning against morae in the competition. ep 8: mokha meets the real dad of the boys again, who hasn't given up on finding them. she tells him tage she doenst know where they are and that he should let go. she thinks she's the reason why they would be found. that's why she runs away yo start a new life. yet the brothers find her and convince her to come back which she finally does. my boy bogyeol goes to his dad on his own free will to get abused again and to sue him bc of his abuse. ep 9: so he's finally there at his dad's house and he obviously gets angry and starts being violent and I think he needs to get therapy bc why tf would you think they wanna see you again after making their life miserable. anyway, he records him to have sth against him. before running away mokha told ranjoo that she would give up and ranjoo got angry. in episode 9 ranjoo confronts mokha and tells her that she would give up on her bc there is no guarantee that this would happen again. they have a big fight and the conclusion wa sthat mokha should aim more than be as good as ranjoo so mokha signs a contract with rj entertainment and is preparing to debut. ranjoo terminates her contract to be supportive of mokha full time bc she wants mokha to concentrate on her own and not on ranjoo. we also find out that ranjoos mum has dementia and thinks of herself as ranjoo the singer. in episode 10 the boys real dad finds them and he goes to the hair salon on his own. bogyeol has cameras and gets home as fast as possible. woohak was faster and almost punched his dad. that mf is being questioned by the police now. rnajoo tell mokha to cut ties with the kang family bc remember their identity theft was made public and she can't afford a scandal. we find out that bogyeol bought a goddamn house for her (WHERE ARE THOSE KINDA BIYS) he even decorated it himself (pls kxll me). she's now staying there. a few things worth mentioning: the other rmanager also was once dreaming of becoming a singer but was unsuccessful so that mf president Lee wanted him to become a manager. mokha was told to choose a song from the achieve. which is actually a dumb for wvery bad song, so they don't even see her as someone worth it. yet she chose managers song, rewrote it and performed it in front of the agency people. ranjoo terminated her contract and now lives under president Lee House. he became friendly as soon as she mentioned that she would terminate the contract. he even flirted with her. I'm just mentioning that bc its interesting how money driven that character is. he wanted her to be miserable, be depressed, sad, give up on life just bc he wouldn't have her half of the shares. but as soon as she says she doenst wnat the shares, he starts being helpful, tries to avoid scandals. I don't think that you can comprehend a complex drama like this which is more about the female lead than about the male lead! put some respect on female characters! this is her story! how she did NOT wnat to be with him bc she wanted to be free but he needed to be an ass and force her. if you think wanting to have your own free will is stupid, maybe you should go back to school and study gender studies and read about feminist movements! don't be an embrassment for out community just bc you found out about junho and need to judge all of his ex Co stars

I think the drama is hilarious but there are better dramas? so I wonder why always these ekinda drama blow up for the locals? Two years ago, so many people got into kdramas bc of True Beauty even tho the story is one cliche after another. I watched true beauty too and enjoyed it.
