I also really like story of minglan. So you should give a go at Love like galaxy. Also The double is absolutely great historical drama. Personally I think these both dramas are gems like story of minglan.

Yeah. I have read half way through that book. But I didn't know it was adapted. This happened to me with story of Kunming palace. They changed the story in later half of drama. Skipped some important novel parts.And 2nd ml wasn't reborn like novel. And I also felt they have reduced craziness of the ml. I felt bit unsatisfied after finishing it especially because of the later half felt rushed and missing some important novel scenes. Nevertheless I enjoyed it. I can rate around 8.3. But when it comes to till the end of moon, it was almost identical to novel. I really liked it. It was 10/10 for me. I also really can't tell whether they will be good for the role or not. Visually I really can't decide. For me it totally depends on their acting especially micro expressions and gestures.

I saw mydramalist has a page for this. People have mentioned there that the novel right has been sold to a production company. May be we will get to see the drama within next 2 years. As you said i am also too afraid they will mess it up because I love this novel too much.😂 Normally when they adapt novels in to dramas, they usually change the plot and the flow of the story sometimes. Even the drama and acting is good and enjoyable, you feels like something is missing and you will feel bit disappointed.
Yeah. He really enjoyed her plays and that was one of reason he let her play under his nose. And other was she was indirectly helping his schemes. If she has ever gotten in his way he would have killed her on the spot. Of course before he fell in love with her. And as I remember he really enjoyed terrifying her in novel. I think he found it amusing.

I really liked the way he fell in love with her. It was really slow burn and subtle. In the early chapters of novel she was playing life and death game with him. To have him has an enemy is absolutely terrifying. His abilities are on godly level in the novel.

The Rebirth of the Malicious Empress of Military Lineage by same author. This was my first ever read of chinese novel. I was really fascinated by the concept. Never have I ever read a rebirth novel before. So fell right in to it.

It wasn't the case in the novel. As I remember That man tricked fangyin and held her captive. There was also bodyguard of xie wei was also with her. But couldn't save her due to timing. Even in the novel it really felt unfair that she died. I also don't know why they had to kill her.
