Well, to be fair, the novel is porn. Not even porn with a plot. Just a bunch of situations where to humans have sex. So if they are planning on making any money on the series, they might as well add in a few things that pass for for characterization or it won't find a non-porn streaming platform.

Episode 1
-So two men, who barely know one another and are fighting over a woman who neither is actually dating, have grown to hate each other so much that they are willing to commit crimes against one another that would get a person 20 years in prison if discovered, but instead have sex after being given drops of a magic potion. Got it.
-Thank goodness they established that both men share a fondness for women of loose morals. If they both liked men from the beginning, the magic potion might have been unnecessary.
-I suppose one way to get us to look past the fact that Mangkorn was going to rape Yai, had the magic potion not suddenly kicked in putting them both in the mood, is to make Yai so unlikeable that our first thought isn't revulsion at the idea but instead "Yeah. The little shit kind of had it coming." I'll give the writers points for working around that. I mean, Yai's not dating Hong and he's got a PI following her around like a husband might do with a cheating wife. And given the set up of his apartment and the fact that he has the magic potions on hand, its probably not the first person he's tried to knock out and take nudie picks of without consent. Not that I'm actually rooting for Mankorn in this dick measuring competition. But the little shit kind of had it coming. Fucked around and found out.
-Comparing to other series after 1 episodes its behind KinnPorche, but ahead of Unforgotten Night in terms of quality. Hoping that it doesn't turn into a complete hatewatch.

Episode 9
-I did have a laugh when Earth and Prem were amazed that in the US, kids dyed their hair all the time. Mainly because I think both of them have had so many different hair colors over the years. Prem alone has had more than half dozen hair colors in the two years I've been following him.
-Something tells me that Cake didn't play American football all through high school, or he'd be coming home a bit beefier.
-Literally, we did just blink and high school was over. I didn't want them to drag it out for a number of episodes, but I would have liked a bit more of transformation. I didn't want Earth to become an asshole, per se. But it would have been nice if his new passion for drama and more adult personality had taken him in directions that would make their reconciliation more challenging. Or made the character more interesting. (Sorry, Seeiw is a very dull boy. Not unpleasant, but still dull.) I have no idea how they are going to stretch this out for 10 more episodes. Maybe Cake comes back and had such a bad experience that he is now an emotional burden to Seiw.
-I'm glad they kept in touch in MSM. Even series set in cotemporary times never seem to get that its far easier to stay in touch today than it was in the past. There are series where they pretend that when someone moves away, its 1910 and the only transportation available is boats and writing letters isn't practical because 90% of the country can't read or write.

Episode 9
Probably not going to be a popular opinion, but I'd wish they'd tone down the boyslove tropes a bit and focus more on the thriller aspect of the series. Its kind of failing as a thriller because the tension hasn't been escalating and all the characters are who they appear to be. There's been nothing that forces us to re-evaluate the characters. Bad superintendent and bad teacher Chadock are still the baddies and they do what they do for donations to the school and its reputation. There isn't anything to be discovered. The stakes need to be ratcheted up beyond "students might be expelled." "The Curse" is delivering more threatening threats using more audacious media, but it isn't doing anything more threatening than issuing threats. I was hoping based on the preview to this episode that the dripping red stuff was actual blood this time. Maybe from that stray dog the boys used to feed. Shocking? Yes. Tonally out of touch? Sure. But it would also escalate the situation and make the fighting on be more dangerous and indicate that the kids who fight on are in a perilous situation. It's like having a ghost yell "get out" over and over again at new home owners, but never doing anything but that. Eventually that ghost needs to hurl a kitchen knife or we go home.

We got a sponge bath and an underwater kiss and some hot and heavy food wiping action. I forgot when Akk mentioned that he likes to swim or needed to go to a pool. Or that Aye suffers from panic induced asthma. Maybe because that was never mentioned before. But hey, BL demands its moments, who cares if setting up those moments makes any sense, right? Or that things that happen after those moments matters.

The BL is starting to get in the way of what could have been a good BL series.

I don't know why I was laughing so hard at Amagi trying to lie. Seriously, Amagi, no one is ever going to believe that you needed extra stretching for yoga. Like I know he is technically human and has bones and tendons and muscles, but it isn't apparent to me that they are necessarily connected in ways that would ever require stretching. He just kind of moves around like a walking rubber band.

Was a bit worried because it was Mame that it would have been revealed that Pai had raped Sky their first night and was stalking him. But that wasn't the case in the series at least. Otherwise I'd be out. Was also nice for a change that booze wasn't involved in the one night stand, either. Sky had his wits about him. Was it coercive? Maybe, but come on. Its not like the bouncers followed them back to the apartment and were waiting outside to beat Sky up if he refused to have sex.

Was also glad that Sky's "ex" is a male so this isn't going to be another series where a formerly straight guy goes through a conversion experience a by having sex. We already had that with Rain and Storm, and don't need couple 2 to just be a repeat of that plot.

Episode 1:
-Well given that all ghosts operate under different rules, we needed to stop and explain the merit points. I guess a ghost cannot accrue merit. It gets subtracted whenever you do something, go or bad. I can't believe they were not allowed to pass on just because they were all worried about picking up Kevin. There's got to be something else keeping them around. They can't just be there to help him become a famous social influencer. Since they can be seen by Pluem, they must be there to help him, too.
-Thought Kevin was rude to Pluem, who he had just met. Why did he think he could just start cracking jokes at his expense? That said, I'm fine with a couple whose dynamic is to mildly insult and tease each other. At least both leads aren't shy.
-Younger brother may not have a romantic partner this series, but he's got that BL look.
-Got the ghost rules. Met all the characters. Learned a little about amulets. Started the clock ticking (down). Episode 1 checklist complete. Hopefully in ep 2 we'll have some goals for the lead beyond "making a live stream."

Thanks. I know Tod from Love Area. Boy looks very familiar to me, but I guess it is his debut. I'm just running through my head with "where did I see him before". Once you've watched thousands of hours of Thai BL, the actors and stories start to blend together.

Whatever it is he's doing, we salute our supporting actors, and smile whenever they pop up.

Were Tod and Boy in a miniseries together this Summer? A Gameboys knock off where the big issue was that Tod wasn't removing the filter from his nose? Its not showing up in their credits. But I swear I watched something along those lines. It was like one of those series where each episode was 3 minutes long.

I'm not into horror. This is about my level of horror. I'll probably have nightmares about the little boy until Christmas. LOL

Yeah. It was strange that he never had any non-cosplay costumes to put on. Like when he was at home, he would slip out of that nonsense and into something less audacious. But then his character was one that wanted the onscreen and public parts of BL to be real in his real life.

Ep 10
-I'm trying to remember which IRL scandal involved a manager or a producer running off to Korea. It did happen. Like they couldn't pay the prod team to continue and were caught flying first class to Seoul for a "recruiting" trip. Looking for new talent. Uh huh. Uh huh. Looking more like you absconded with the petty cash box.
-Didn't like the resolution. Everyone was a bastard to Bew and they were like "What right did you have to ruin our lives." Of course, its Thailand, so apparently fake moms need to be forgiven. It seemed to turn into a Sunday School lesson with a moral at the end about the importance of forgiving family, even manufactured family. Felt tonally wrong. Its O.K. if after all that, they just all agreed never to see each other again. Bew isn't a 10 year old kid.
-Apparently, airport security is a lot more lax in Thailand than in the US or anyplace else I've travelled in the past 20 years. I guess fan clubs are allowed beyond the gate.
-I wonder when he gets home if he has a pair a sweats and some t-shirts to wear. Something a bit more practical for the provinces.

I don't know. I'm just relieved that there's a time limit. They needed to slow it down because I think its an BL rule that if they have sex early, getting together needs to be delayed. Its another story where the straight uke gets converted because he likes having anal sex. Usually when the leads have drunken sex this early, nothing happens for ten episodes. This is more like TharnType where Tharn ends up agreeing to have sex with Type for a month to "Cure himself of homophobia" rather than "Fuse and Tee have sex and Tee feels badly that he might have raped Fuse and Fuse can't decide what to do about his obviously cheating girlfriend so they just hang out and do nothing to build their relationship for a season and a half." MIR may be more realistic, but TharnType is more fun to tune into each week.

Its possible. I wasn't thinking of the crying in the cafeteria, since the character is obviously trying to get sympathy from a group of friends who like to make jokes at each other's expense, so it was meant to be dramatic and fake. (Plus he didn't really like that girl). It could just be that the space for immature acting ukes is full at the moment, with My Only 12%, Amagikun, and Love In the Air currently in there. (Dude, just clip the damn duck onto your book bag. It doesn't even have keys). I do find them both stiff when it comes to body language. Ping's delivery reminds of of Dunk and I'm not certain what's supposed to be behind any of it.

I found myself bored enough to search for how long a horse could live without water. If Snow White was in that barn a week and no one was bringing her water, she'd be dead. At the very least when Khim finally realized the horse was there, she'd be in extreme distress.

They just bought that property with plans to develop it. In three months someone would be there to check on it.

So the magic of the comet is what's going to bring his memory back, isn't it. And a kiss from Sun, who will waken Snow Khim from his slumber. Or maybe the doctor is going to poison one of sun's apples and he'll be awoken by a kiss. I was thinking of using the word aroused instead of awoken, but that doesn't make sense. There is very little chance of Sun becoming aroused by anything Khim does in this bromance.

On the plus side, for about 2 minutes this episode, Fluke had relatively decent hair. Like Khim being away made him forget to go to the barber (if he goes to a barber and doesn't cut it himself) so it grew out 3 centimeters. Alas, he went back to the bad cut in the next scene.

Has no one in this series ever watched a lakhorn? The villainess is telegraphing everything she does. She speaks her plans aloud. Has anyone thought of bugging her office and phone? What good is it having billions if you can't find a wiretapper. Or bribe her servants to wear a bug.

At this point, the goons in the woods should just call it quits and make her wait the 18 months left before Rain is declared dead. You know, if they wanted, they could fly Khim to the US or Japan for surgery and he'd be fairly safe. Pretty much any regional medical center would have a surgeon who could perform the operation. Just put him on a bus. While it may be brain surgery, its not rocket science these days.

It must be a well-stocked bar. Also, amazing that he could find the place after crashing in the middle of the woods.

I do not want them to spend money on a second season. That money could be spent on something much better.

In the novel, after their relationship was discovered, the Step dad forced them apart. One boy became a reporter. The other was forced to join the army. We didn't get that far as the series was cancelled about 2 episodes before that would have happened.
