That's just K-drama romcoms in general. Always that awkward third wheel.
This kid is even more annoying because he's not even a proper second male lead... He's basically a support character who's only purpose is to hit on Go Mi Ran with puppy eyes. He's a pretty monotone character writing wise. What a waste. I don't even consider it a love triangle since he's not a proper character with a proper story arc.

What is everyone's issue with this drama? Have seen a lot of negativity. I admit the story could be a bit better…
I also dislike the annoying 20 year old with a crush on Go Mi Ran. Forced love triangle. The only purpose his character serves is for the love triangle and perhaps a comedic element when Go Mi Ran finds out his dad is her EX.

This isn't really a spoiler but maybe a minor one: Why is the second lead such a Jerk?? I honestly dislike him so much. He treats Haer - i , like trash. Yet from the 9th episode we're suppose to believe he cares about her secretely?? I suppose he wants to start romantically pursuing her and form a love triangle?? What lazy writing for such a monotone and arrogant character..
