The soldiers came and slaughtered. Her senior escaped but was injured. She helped him recover from his limp. There were flashes of the soldiers killing the scholars. The room with the flying papers. FL had to survive by herself basically. Her maid was also killed. She is in a shock from witnessing it as well as a lot of grief.
I like this FL character. She is broken but still fixes those around her. She shows great compassion and understanding. This comes out of her own hurt. This is the first series I am actually enjoying so far this year. No skipping. Peace♥
I was trying to figure out where I had seen the actress who plays Qin Zheng [Consort Dowager] Then it hit me. Zhang Yue * Wan Qi Qi (Love like the Galaxy) Two diverse rolls. Great to see her perform again. ♥
FL character is such an idiot. Who runs towards danger dressed so richly with no skills to protect herself. Without Ye Xian she would have been dead or captured long ago. She has the nerve to berate him for following. This lost a point for me in rating because of this script writing.

I made it to episode 12 then skipped to the last 3. Too bad, the story had so much potential from PA. They didn't get into our heroine's special identity at all. I didn't read the novel so don't know how it was supposed to go. Kinda disappointed in this version. The acting wasn't too bad but the script was all over the place. The ending was ridiculous with the different scenarios. Of course they couldn't have a sad ending cause everyone hates those. Calling this watched with prejudice, meaning I won't attempt the watch again. Peace everyone. ♥
