I call it the stuffed harem trope. To appease everyone the nobles had spying concubines. Poor girls. Consequently they lived lonely lives. Just because he accepted her doesn't mean they can have a relationship. Notice at the end FL was trying to include her. OOOps another friend. Peace♥

They do have the best subs but I agree they can be slow. Subbing takes a long time and then the subbers have to be available to do the subbing. We could all learn Chinese? Just saying? hahahaha♥

Now don't get mad at me for my opinion. With that said. Tang Dynasty women were held back and not allowed to do business, were only to be taken advantage of if they have any smarts. This script was all over the place and tried to cover too many facets. Our FL got everything she wanted by any means. Some people joined her along the way and she had ups and downs. She has some fierce enemies mostly from acquaintance rivals. Shen Yi's husband gone << he was a hater, Liu Chang's parents (poisoned don't know the outcome). Li You Zhen was injured when she tried to intimidate FL. All looking like they had karma. Love relationship is held at arms length (If you want a concubine just release me) All superficial with FL. Would her Mom really want her to have such a taxing business? Would her Mom be happy she is in a false marriage? Disconnect here in the story. It's like FL is only serving herself but those around her fall in line with her goals. What magic does she have that everyone does what she wants? I know she is kind and can be helpful to less needy but I'm just not feeling it with all these people doing her bidding. Just left me wanting an explanation. Other than that it's just a sometimes tragic and sometimes satisfying Female centered story. Peace♥

As of Ep 27 ML is not married to anyone. FL was forced to marry but divorced and her former husband won't give up on her. Hence a lot of problems with a princess who wants FL former husband and is insanely jealous. ML gives support but is being forced to marry others. If this kind of intrigue is not your cup of tea then don't watch if it's upsetting.

Her family are the reason she is in trouble. Her uncle sent the bandits. She is wise not to let them know she survived. ♥

This is really good. I like that she follows the clues and knows when to change tactics. Well written script. The acting is amazing. ♥

Vikki does their own subbing. Which is a better quality than some sites. They're the best subbing team. ♥

Lessons in hard knocks I guess. Give her enough rope and she will ... She is learning through the whole thing. If she's yours she will come back to you. hahahahaha ♥

It's the script not fl. They are only acting out the script. It's hypocritical some of the writing. No worries. I am enjoying the story. Peace♥
