Contrary to most reviews...
I think the show was good, and actors were very professional! Lots of reviews about how it's difficult to keep up with the story, but I beg to differ - I thought it was pretty easy to follow - as long as you watch intently. Plot may have been slightly superficial BUT I like that it focused on the ML and FL's love story. Overall I thought it was a feel-good show, and the ending is pretty satisfactory (again, unlike what other people are saying). Shao'er would not have wanted to be confined in the palace anyway... and the ending gives the audience room to explore happy thoughts and possibilities about FL and ML meeting outside of palace to avoid FL being confined to palace's stuffy rules and etiquette.
