As far as I understood, the uncle liked Seo Ha's mother and felt sorry for her. He kinda blamed his brother (Seo Ha's father) for her condition. To teach him a lesson, he planned the collision. However, he did not know that Seo Ha would be in the car that day.
In a drunk state, he happened to confess all of this out of guilt to Seo Ha's step mother who at that time was working for MI Hotel. She used this secret to her advantage and married Seo Ha's father.

It's the acting that makes all the difference, and boy, EXO did outperform themselves. Those who say idols can't act should definitely watch it?❤️
