Absolute cuties. I didn't mind the general slow pace of the dialogues. The cinematography is very sought out and quite beautiful. But story wise not much is happening in 8 episodes, this could have easily been just a 4 ep drama or a movie (without a real resolution since there is no real tension). This one is definitely odd, very charming but uneventful and plain.
I added Park So Jin. I think she was so funny in "Sh**ting stars" and in "Alchemy of souls". (update ) ... I also added Lee Joo Young brilliant in "Itaewon Class" and "Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo" and Kim Sung Cheol so heart touching in "Our beloved summer". I'm stopping here or I will go all night. Thanks for this poll ;-)
Just finished ep 8 and I am crying my heart out. Just needed to share. Up for ep 9 in a few minutes. Loving it so far (obviously). Good night/morning/day everyone.
Firstly thank you so much for the mention. And yeah Korn is really brutal and evil like kan said. Not only many…
I'm confused in general by this ep and regarding VP I am more disappointed, or I was expecting more or IDK I needed more than this :-( I thought it was rushed ...
EP 14 was good and at the same time ... IDK ... So just to be clear : Korn faked his own death to get a grip on Gun (who comes to war in shorts thank you @Brighest Star for the observation) and this legitimates the killing of hundred bodyguards (on both sides) including his first lieutenant ???? And everybody accepts that ??? Korn is not a victor he is a dictator in disguise. The highlight for me : amazing scene at the bar with Kim and Porchay, choreography, humour and cinematography at the top! On the teary side : Vegas & Pete :-( Confused by this ending but thankfully it it is not the end of it... season 2 !
The anime is definitely much better and more intricate and we miss the character of Keita Mukae with this adaptation :-( But I think the overall aesthetics of the movie and the acting were very good. So - for me - it's not bad, just not as good as it could have been.
