yay! we're halfway! Kudos to the writer, director, BWS and KHY!
Slowly becoming my favorite 2024 drama!
Feels like Twinkling watermelon all over again - Its different but yet the same... that feeling while watching and waiting every week for the next episodes... kudo
2 kisses and 935739402 dying/murder scene, it makes me insane. 😭 but I never get tired. I actually feel soft and warm inside. Never thought that crazy positive FL + a Cutee loser ML is a good combi. 😂
Actors - 11/10 - KSH and KJW really act as if their rent is due. PSH, KDY always ate their part. Great ensembles. Shout out to my fave characters Aunt Hong Beom and the annoying Sec Grace - job well done! OST - 10/10 Cinematography - 10/10 Story - 5/10
Its 2024 and I cant believed I will see all the tropes that was famous in early kdramaland. ✔️Sick Character ✔️ Amnesia ✔️FL saved by ML when they where young ✔️Characters met when they where young ( even leaving an mp3 as a memento, can you believe that) ✔️Rich/Poor Couple ✔️Rich becoming poor ✔️ Insane Antagonist ✔️Accident/almost dead at the last episodes ✖️Lead/s dying (the writer's still sane to give us HE) 😂
Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed it, they really took me on a rollercoaster ride, I laugh, I cried, I got excited, I felt stressed (SUPER STRESSED), and so much butterflies it keeps me grinning like a fool. It was a very solid production - high quality drama, but it was really messy. The last time I watch this kind of makjang is Graceful Family (I also liked this one, although its also messy lol). If this drama was made by a different cast and so-so production, it wont even make a sound.
idk if Im just looking for too much, somehow i felt short for the leads acting... cant help but think what if the story is played by better actors or is it the directors fault for not pushing the leads to act more? just saying... its already good, it could have been better or a potential to be a masterpiece. what if.
it is a curse which nearly all great kdrama have faced...their last episode taking downward spiral. IT IS OK NOT…
ugh, i remember that one! but the road trip at the end is really rewarding. but the screenwriter is the same as LOTBS and CLOY so im prepping myself for 2mins of happiness only at the end.
the casts are really great, the only thing thats keeping me from dropping this one, the story becomes tiring and stressing, dont know whats the writer and director thinking. 2 more episodes lets go!
Some dramas of that era like this are iconic and they will be remembered forever in Korea with references that…
You found my comment lol. . I feel so old, i remember the "italian-made" jacket that HB used became a crazed . Its a complete cultural reset. But I believe that it wont be a trend if it came out know. Im just glad that it came out at the right time- 20 years ago. (shocks!)
i watch all but amazing boyfriend.. after watching Go Ahead and Find Yourself, i am for the lookout of all their works and not caring who the actors are because I have trust in their story
it can be Mhok leaves but still stay together... Day stays and learned to be more independent.. time skip, they both grow, Mhok comes back and they live happy ever after.. but yeah, let's go back to the usual storyline.. breakup and get back together. tsk
Im not complaining bcoz I just want a smooth sailing story, but after all the things that they've been through, the trust that they built, Day slowly getting braver and more confident, Mhok slowly getting on his feet and having a clear goal, we end up on "let's break up" like its the best the director/writer can do. yeah bs.
there's some misunderstanding but its not draggy (for me)... aside from the romance its actually a journey of…
as far as i remember there are no major misunderstanding but there's a problem at work that as a "man" he wanted to resolve by himself. (i watched this 2 years ago) you can give this a try...
this is actually a slice of life drama, it has snippets of their daily life as a a married couple and it so fun.
