Yes true last 6 episodes feel rush and sadly it's due to budget issue. According insiders in Douban, the production…
I'm not really good is distinguishing between characters building and world building... but that's a nice insight. I've read HOB and GDC and I both enjoyed the progression of the story. I admire MXTX way of storytelling, flashbacks, plot twists, character building. (tho sometimes quite wordy and long. lol). I only read Lord Seventh so I'm not familiar with Priest yet and bias on MXTX. I watch Legend of Fei without knowing that he's the author and then when I watch WOH trailer and saw the treasure key divided into pcs I saw a similarity and search if they have the same writer. As I watch WOH I notice the same concept of finding treasure although told in different way. Is this Priest signature concept? For me, LOF and WOH both suffer from rush ending with a lot of details skipped at the end. I'm planning to read Faraway Wanderer to understand WOH more.
Sadly that was all due to lack of budget. Glad you enjoyed though.
I did, i binged watch it for 2 days. I have some problems with the series but I wont be critical. A Xu and WKX makes me laugh and cry and angry and sad, I travel with them and enjoy the adventure and that's enough for me.. There are times that I feel disconnected but I will put the blame the editing/directing team.
Now Im off to watch begin again to appreciate Simon more. :)
I'm done... I really waited for the whole series to be subbed before I binge watch it. I like it. The subtle flirting gives me butterfly. MLs have a charming chemistry. I'm a fan of The Untamed, for me they are different and similar at the same time. Storywise I like The Untamed more, but the fight scenes here are visually entertaining. The flying scenes, hand fights while their costumes swirl in the air... I really love it! I'm just disappointed on the last 5 or 6 ep... ugh, the plot twist execution could have been better, it felt so rush and a lot of details are skips.
Just wait a bit, it will be explained why Chengling knows about WKX and the thing with Gu Xiang as well. As for…
Just finished ep 36... You nailed it on your questions... we are left hanging and to think of it on our own.. haha Maybe its just bad editing and with a few ep they rush to wrap the whole story. Same with you the last 5 ep tastes sour.. I'm ok with the open ending but the whole delivery really sucks. I forgo reading the book so as not to judge the series as I go along with the ep but now I need to read the book to understand how and why the things that happen happened.
im in ep 31 and i don't know if its just the editing or im watching wrong ep copy... but how did Gu Xiang escape from Scorpion King and WKX have his backstabber ghosts help him save A Xu? and Chen Ling already knows that WKX in the Ghost Chief? HELP. Im really confused! Lol
I have a lot of questions with this drama but so far I'm enjoying it and looking forward to what will happen next and been thinking of starting Court Lady but jumped to Bossam Steal the Fate, u might want to check. I like the first 2 eps. :)
Strangers from hell was quite disturbing rather than scary. At the end I didn't even dare rate it bc I didn't…
yeah, based on what I've read so far, SFH theme is really disturbing and will challenge you mentally and I don't think I am strong enough to face such insanity. My imaginations run wild as I read your experience and I dare not watch this on this time, maybe after pandemic. I hope you are doing well, I hope your chaotic mind can find an outlet to be calm . Sending virtual hug. :)
i'm stil not brave enough to watch strangers from hell (on my list for 2 years. lol)
will try beyond evil.
FoE is one of the best for me in 2020...
recommending SIGNAL for those who haven't watch it yet.. the story will kept you on edge from start to finish. gritty, smart, heart wrenching... its a wild ride.
Bruh, i would have loved the heck out of this drama but the scene where hanseo and cha young were kidnapped…
same thoughts... im thinking when Hanseo and Hanseok is fighting on the ground, Vincenzo should have help him instead of fleeing with Chayong. Ugh!!! HE COULD HAVE GET THE GUN!!! I'm not against Hanseo dying (sobs) but he deserves better and smarter ending than this one...
Nope. The book from where this drama is adapted came before DOS and aside from doctor & police characters and earthquake mentioned in summary... the story are different. Give it a try. This is a cdrama gem :)
They definitely will change it to korean one. I just hope it will give different vibe but the same emotion idk…
Kdrama always produce a memorable OST so I really have a high expectation for this remake's OST. I am praying that they will select a song that will have a nostalgic happy feeling that makes you raise your hand and sing a long (even u don't know the lyrics) as Last Dance...
haven't watch the Kairos so i idk their similarities but the story really keeps me on my toes. binge watch 6 episodes and omg... the plot switching is really interesting. Great acting and action sequence... this deserves more audience. Kudo
*sigh* for me the ending is uncalled for. Twist? Shock factor? Portrayal of real life? nah... All I know is that YXG didn't even got his deserve happy life and XHT continued to mourn him after many years. In a community that hoping for deserve happy ending I am so disappointed. And what's up with the doppelgänger... *sigh* Well the title says it all, should have seen it coming :)
(dont eye-roll) is this happy ending? In this pandemic I easily get depressed, I really don't mind watching angtsy, sad film as long as I will have happy ending or peace of mind at the end :). Thanks!
