Yes. And it sucks. They're not up for discussion. They're trying to fit AoS in the standard way of naming titles.
Someone says it's one of the purposes to build fandom tightly.
I think it makes future (new) viewers confused.

Idk anymore. But official working titles are just "Alchemy of Souls" and"Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow".

I think I know why they did this. If "Part 1/2 or Season 1/2" are not included, some people might watch part 2…
But this is complicated already with seasons or parts whatever. I think "Alchemy of Souls" and "Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow" are more simple and also working titles.
