Title Mimicus
Hadn't heard of this until I learned ateez has a song on the ost. By the looks of it, it's something I'd find interesting. Love dramas that try to center on students in the arts and have multiple mains.

HAHAHAHAHA thank you. You're also sane I guess otherwise you couldn't have been understood me. People are whimsical…
I'm 31 and asexual and still didn't end up enjoying this so thinking that those of us who weren't happy with this drama are either young or looking for a romantic melodrama is so off base. Just saying. There's reasons for some to love it, like yourself, and reasons for some to dislike it. But I'm not assuming anything about you because you liked a drama I didn't lol. The script didn't match up to the acting, nor did it follow through with a lot of the points it laid out in the beginning. I wish it would have delved even more into the family dynamics, they were my favorite part- the romance was anything but romance and was boring imo. Perhaps my expectations were too high with the cast it gave us. Sorry to be offended on your comment but like... I am haha.

Finally someone who agrees with me. It seems this drama really captured a lot of hearts and has people acting like it's the best bl to come out of Thailand which... it's not. I adore the actors but the script was just tame and lame imo. I'm also ace and still felt the lack of intimacy on any level was so odd.

I didn't want to like this drama but I love the cast. Yeah it's awkward at times and I don't think the writer really knows what they're doing but the dialogue is actually something I enjoy. There are billions of people in the world, and we all don't think or act or talk or relate to each other the exact same. THE GRANDPA THO he's adorable. I find myself enjoying it way more than I thought I would. Except the Charlie plotline. It's like the writer thinks they're being progressive when really they're just using gayness as a scandal and death arch again to further the plot for the main character. Seeing as how Park Bo Gum has had his shares of such rumours in actual life I thought maybe they'd at least have an intriguing line of how the public needs to let people be people and stop their obsession with hunting down who's gay in the Korean entertainment industry or SOMETHING but nope. I do want to see how the story will end. Have a feeling it will be open ended and I prefer that, so. Again though, I'm only watching for the cast, honestly.

Everything people are talking about in the replies of my comments are lgbtq content yes but not BL. BL is an industry and genre that the things listed are not technically part of. There are distinctions and reasons there are differences. Just because something has gay content does not mean they are of the same genre.

I have yet to watch this, but the fact that people are arguing extensively in the comments is a good sign haha like it obviously has the stuff to make you hooked if people care enough to debate character motivations. Can't wait to start it.
