A lot of viewers project a need for: clarity, decisiveness, clean narratives
But real feelings aren’t neat. Sometimes we don’t know right away. Sometimes choosing carefully looks messy on screen.
We can disagree with someone’s choices without stripping them of empathy, without turning them into a villain.
And honestly? The loud hate often says more about the audience’s unresolved stuff than about those casts themselves. People get triggered when someone mirrors their own past confusion, guilt, or fear of hurting others.
IRL… I think the ones with more potential are Jaejin & Jooyoung (arts), Subeen & Mingee (sports) and Sunghun & Heesun (location & language). For Goeun, it could be Sungmin or Igoen. 😅
My personal choice is Hyun Jae. 🤭 So I really want him to be happy with Jooyoung. But—I think Jooyoung is happier & romantically attracted to Jaejin. Now I wanna cheer Hyun Jae for Haeun…😅 Haeun’s supposed to be the game-changer, but why is she becoming everyone’s dongsaeng? 😄
Btw, I wish Subeen & Mingee have started something earlier. I’m interested with their common denominator. 😉
And Yejin is so representing a lot of 30s…LOL Not the proactive/hyperactive/reactive one, “am just here for _________” & the oh-so-chill type which could not be that good for a show like SI.
As for Hyeonwoo, I hope his over-showering of compliments would be minimized. 😅

Woah, thx for the details! If she could handle Igeon’s “bad” side (as we all do have), I bet she would choose him. Based on what the PDs have shown so far, I can see a more romantic tension between her & Igeon than with Sungmin—just my observation tho…
But if I were Goeun & I’d like to have a safer choice, I’d have Sungmin then. 🙂
