All dramas like martial Universe, battle through the heavens, which initially had OP MC in the book, make MC become useless and weak in the drama. They heavily depend on some plot armors instead of making MC OP. why Cultivation novels and dramas are interesting? it's because MC grows and is unique and unparallel. Now, Hardly any dramas that is about immortal and cultivation stuffs, encourages MC about strength. All these dramas are either love fantasy or love tragedies, instead of growing the MC up to become strong. Some changes in adaption from book to dramas, are for good, some are very bad and horribly stupid.

Lin Langtian has been an annoying character in the novel, but he seems to become a good boy in the drama. Dunno wheather hes just pretending to be a good boy as i just watched till ep03 only. yet I like it. None is purely evil, none is purely good. they made lin langtian so evil without any reason in the novel, and yet kept langtian alive for too long that I almost dropped the novel. Damn, just kill an enemry for fucks sake fast and make another new enime. The author thought that keeping the enemy alive would keep the readers glued. But thanks to whoever adapted this novel to drama, We can see a more realistic ling tian who might not necessarily be so evil. as the drama made everything good and evil balanced with reality. And the MC is fun too.

This forced plot of him loosing his prowess because of a Zhi Heng lock up Fengjiu in that pagoda and confessing right away, is unacceptable. There were many ways to make one lose their prowess but it was such a bad plot twist.
