I Can’t WAIT!!! The trailer had me in my feelings just like season 1!!! My goodness. i absolutely love this drama!! Also, I’ve been waiting patiently to see Tan Jian Ci with that white hair!!! Whew it’s hard on a sista to surround her with so many choices. Ahhh.
Was the drama Missing Crown Prince? I just finished watching that a few nights ago.
Listen here. This is the cream of the crop right here... Some of the older guys have had me in a choke hold like Lee Soo Hyuk, Song Seung Heon, Uhm Tae Goo in My Sweet Mobster, Kim Ji Hoon (villain of all villains and so fine). I will stop here because I'll be naming names all day. Lol.

It's funny I got into Kpop by accident really. I ran across a single of Jackson Wang and ended up going down the rabbit hole of Kpop so the first group I fell in love with was GOT7 then EXO because I learned about certain members of their group first like Baekhyun and Kai. Wooo Kai!! And BTS kind of grew on me. I fell for V first with the song Singularity which I still listen to and then I fell head over heels in love with Suga.. Those are my favs.
Oh yesssss Cheng Yi. I was trying to remember his name I saw his face but was struggling. I adore him. I believe it was Immortal Samsara where he played 3 different characters. I had seen him before but that drama did me in. It was the white hair. I am a sucker for white hair character like Tan Jian Ci played in Lost You Forever.. I cannot wait for Season 2. All of the ones on your list that I didn't list are certainly my favs as well. I remember seeing Caesar Wu in a historical drama Heart of Loyalty, I think it was another name for it but it was the first time I saw him in a drama after seeing Meteor Garden, I was like who is this man and why did I not notice he was so fine. He hit different in historical dramas. Next level for real. Yang Yang will always be my first love because he was my first Cdrama introduction in Love 020 him and that ever beautiful Vin Zhang (Bin Bin). Have mercy. Like why are they all so amazingly beautiful.
I am trying to learn the difference in all the historical dramas. I get confused sometimes. As long as it's fantasy with some good martial arts and handsome leads. I'm good.. Lol.

Yeah the royal family dynamic is what caught my attention. The writer probably wanted the QD and slim shady to be the main leads but knew they couldn't carry the drama because no one was gonna get behind that love story no matter how tragic the story. It's not a love you can root for. I like EXO but my favs are Baekyun, Kai and DO. I didn't know much about Suho other than seeing him in a drama called Behind Your Touch which I loved his character in that. I am not a big K-historical drama fan unless it's fantasy like Alchemy of Souls, it's just something about historical Kdramas that stress me out.. Lol. I am a huge Wuxia and historical C-drama fan. I wasn't at first but I prefer historical C-dramas over most of their modern dramas and then for K-dramas I like their modern dramas better.
It's something about the costumes in historical C-dramas that make me smile. The garments are so beautiful and then when you have beautiful men like Wang Xing Yue, Neo Hou, Bai Jing Ting, Li Hong Yi, Yang Yang, Xu Kai, Liu Xue Yi, Gong Jun (Simon) and Huang Jun Jie just to name a few who look so stunning in historical garments it makes it worth it to watch..
I agree they should have killed it at episode 14 for me. Lol.

Yeah the grand prince was so adorable. The thing I loved about that drama was the real family dynamic between the royal family. You had the queen who loved the crown prince like he was her very own son, there was no plotting to put her biological son above the crown prince. The family unit was beautiful. That's why I was drawn to keep watching because they genuinely loved and trusted each other but it was so messy. Also it was tagged as a romantic comedy and there wasn't nothing funny about that drama. It had so much potential. And yes I saw Bossam that's why I went ahead and watched MCP. In considering it being a continuation certain aspects of the Dowager's story being front and center makes sense but they didn't present it that way in the description. They had us believing that this was a sweet love story between the leads. They should have let us know that it had multiple story lines or something it was just way too much of the dowager and her crazy boo thang.

Agreed. I don't know what they were attempting to accomplish but it was all over the place. It was supposed to be like a pre-quel to Bossam: Steal The Fate. At any rate I just finished it because I was invested. But goodness.. The writer really just said 123 drop and let the plot fall where it falls...
I get that the Elder Princess was traumatized. My heart hurts for her in that regard but choosing to go after innocent people and hurting them is not acceptable. She more than anyone should understand the pain of being violated. It's similar to what I just watched in another drama. This couple were denied their love because of the greediness of a deposed king so they decided to murder and destroy the lives of others because of their pain. There's no excuse for it. Zero..
He really is and what makes him even more disgusting is his passing the blame onto other people for his decisions. "I was forced, I had no choice, blah blah blah blah.." Sir you know this woman is obsessed with you. You snap back at her when you want to and stand your ground. You could have given her that lil plan you had about the marriage earlier instead of agreeing to off your wife. He's a filthy disgusting person and them tears make me despise him even more because sir we all know you don't really care. You only care about you..
When I tell you Duke Su got me over here like... Sirrrrr
I'm trying to hold it together but if he stares through the screen like that one more time. I'm like Sir! The intensity. The fineness. Especially when that hair is flapping in the wind. The scene of him in the court topless with them red pants in the rain (brain stuck on them red pants) practicing his sword play. We can build a whole drama around that part right there.. I'll certainly enjoy the plot of it all. Lol
When I tell you this drama got me in my feelings... I got hands ready to throw... Seriously... The villainy of the villains is giving for real. Like I'm about to put all these folk on my "Oooooh I don't like you," list.. That's when you know an actor is doing their job because I am in my feelings for real. Like for real.
I was not prepared for the tears that have been spilled from mine eyes!!! Masterful!! that’s all I got. This drama was masterful. not perfect but still masterful!!! My Goodness!!!
The Drama I didn’t know I needed. Thw whole cast is STELLAR!!!! And Mr Lee Do-Hyun SIR!!!! You better work!!! Show them your range sir!!!!! He’s super fine and super talented!! He got RANGE!!!!!!
She is one of my favorite actresses. She is so talented and brings so much tangible passion as well a relatable feeling to every character she plays even in Extraordinary You with the self-aware characters from a book. I've been following here ever since then and she never disappoints. Not only that, her smile is contagious and she just fills up the screen with her personality.
