Maybe it's just me but I think he is the most adorable. I love the expressiveness of his face and his features are beautiful. There's just something about him that makes me want to stare at his face. I don't know why. I just want to see it.
And the original there was a fear that she couldn't have kids because of her miscarriage. Then it wad discovered…
Yeah the ending wasn't great. And I agree I am thankful they took the whole story line out with her being tricked and told she couldn't conceive. That was cruel. I would have been okay with a special episode of them showing their life a year or so after them being remarried. More than anything I was hoping they didn't rush the ending and gave us more of their reconciliation. They have such good chemistry and their romance was so genuine. I appreciated the genuineness of the male lead. He was indecisive but once he committed he was committed because he was fully devoted to Anna but he suffered so many heartaches with her and he finally cracked. I love this story but they could have done better with the ending. There are things about this remake that I love. The ending tho.
I'm kinda glad they didnt have a kid at the end of the drama. It just shows that their story was not only about…
At first I was fuming about them leaving that out because them having a baby was a part of the two versions that I love. You however make a great point about the baby that I considered. It shows that their relationship was authentic and not dependent upon them having a child. They were genuinely in love.
I was completely disappointed in the ending because it was rushed. They gave us nothing really. I was expecting a least an episode or two of them reconciling and him proposing in grand fashion like the original one which was one of the cutest proposals/wedding scenes I've since. All we got in the final episode was them in the airport one minute and the next they're on their way to the altar. I do love the fact that ended with them on the cruise where it all began indicating that maybe he fell in love at that moment. I thought he did but he was warring between the fantasy of Anna and his current reality.
And the original there was a fear that she couldn't have kids because of her miscarriage. Then it wad discovered…
I know right. I don't know what they were thinking with this remake but important details to their left story was completely abandoned and reduced to ash. I mean if they're going to do that at least give us more of them together. They deprived us of the beauty of their relationship. Just destroyed it.
This version gave us more drama, angst and frustration than the feeling of destiny and love. I watched only because I enjoyed the ML in Lucky's First Love and I watched these two in The Eternal Love 1 & 2 and thought hey they're cute together. I am so mad because we were given 2 episodes of them really being in the same place about their feelings, Anna shows up and everything goes to pot and the episodes from there are ughh and then we get the final episode of them back together. What kind of love story is that?
I have very different opinions about Anna. I see they tried to make her more of a victim in this but the way I see it from the beginning Anna was never as invested in their relationship like Xiyi was. He waited and waited, was put on the back burner time after time and then in a moment of him being kind as well as heartbroken the unthinkable happens. I see a lot of comments about him cheating but it's not like he went out of his way to cheat on Anna. It's not like he deceived Jia Xin by keeping Anna a secret. He wasn't a player trying to get over on these two women. Jia Xin stood in for Anna to save him from the embarrassment of her leaving. He forgot to cancel the whole thing he set up for the proposal so Snail stood in to help him like he helped her and they ended up marrying for real. At this point without them knowing they're married for real and end up together because all the heavy drinking they did. In the original version he was drugged and she was drunk. The situation is most unfortunate but it didn't happen because of him being a dirty dog of o a man. My only issue with him/them is how they handled it afterwards. He should have dealt with his feelings sooner and let it be known once he figured out he didn't love her and he wanted to stay with his wife. I however didn't feel sorry for her at all and her manipulative tactics only made me stand by my opinion of the character. No sympathy here.
In every version I've always had Second Lead Syndrome and I found myself feeling the same with Dylan here. He was just sweet and loyal to the end but you love who you love and the connection between Xiyi and Jia Xin was too strong, genuine and sweet plus the baby connection.
Which brings me to why I even decided to post. I hate that they destroyed the ending with giving us less sweet moments and loving moments with this couple - they destroyed it by even taking away them getting pregnant with another child. The Korean version they had twins. I don't understand why they would leave one of the most amazing moments out. I understand updating it but some elements of the story is what made it so enjoyable sweet. I'm disappointed and frustrated. I wanted more love from this supposed to be Romantic Comedy. There was more pain than comedy. And the romance. The second couple had more romance and sweetness than the main couple. That's not right to me.
Please give us a special episode I need to see their after marriage life :(
Yes. I'm real upset. What happened to them having another baby. In the original it ended them being pregnant again. And in the Korean version they gave them twins. They need to do a special episode right now because I'm feeling cheated.
I’m actually sobbing, I think Cuo’s birthday present to her is the sweetest thing I’ve ever seen a male…
I agree. It was the most thoughtful and endearing gift. And his smile when he saw her smiling at the fireworks. The sacrifice he made at that moment. How sweet.
This was cute. If you're looking for something cute, not interested in a strong story line and are okay with the occasional overacting you will enjoy this. Watch it for entertainment purposes and the cute couples only - you won't be disappointed if you go in not expecting much.
Watching this for the second time and am just realizing how much Hye Ji got on my nerves. I thought her and Hyun Min had some awesome love story. The way she acted was like they were a real couple at one point but that wasn’t the case. She claimed ownership to him from a childhood crush/friendship ??? And was clinging and whiny and making him responsible. Ughhh.
Seriously in love with this drama for so many reasons. It's not typical. The story line is awesome and the more it goes the better it becomes with various things being revealed. Just amazing writing. I love it.
Retrograde Amnesia???? Come on SERIOUSLY???Oh my... I know I shouldn't but I am hating Anna so much.I know its…
You and me are the same. I'm sitting over here spitting fire. I'm like amnesia from a concussion really. Okay and even if that's true it's temporary. I personally think she got her memory back already that night and now she's just playing games. And the FL has unnerved me. I understand it's how the characters are written but come on. And the ML at this point your pregnant wife is cooking dinner for your manipulative ex and you don't put your foot down. Even if y'all going with the whole make sure she don't have a relapse or whatever thing - there is line. I don't know who in their right mind would have said yes to this foolishness anyway but I'm done. I'm checking out until episode 28 maybe later. I'm done. I'm so mad right now.
in all the versions I feel sad for Anna. What she did was really bad and all, but come on. You are complete in…
I don't condone cheating at all. However in context of their whole relationship, his moment of hurt (because he didn't set out to cheat) they got drunk and this happened but Anna in my opinion took advantage of his love for her for years. She constantly made him wait on her, abandoned him numerous times and she knew he would wait. She knew how he felt and she knew he would bow down to whatever she wanted to do. He was her number one supporter in her dreams. Never demanded she give up anything but she rarely considered his feelings not one. The only time his feelings became important is when she was injured then their relationship became important. I feel nothing for her because she's manipulative and their relationships was always secondary. I can understand pursuing her dreams but she abandoned that man so many times. As far as the ML - yeah he needed to tell her and be a man up front about it but at the same time he invested his whole everything into Anna. He needed to be a man and fear letting her go but apparently his hesitation was based off his experience with her manipulative ways and fear she might do what she's doing now. I mean there's so many things to look at but I don't completely fault him because he didn't intentionally cheat. He is at fault for not dealing with his emotions, being a man and standing by his decision.
Is it just me but I am quite disappointed with how the drama progresses especially after episode 22... maybe because…
I was enjoying this as well but episode 22 just made it take a whole dive for me. Do better. I'm done. I'm on hiatus until episode 28, 29 maybe 30. Who knows I'm out tho.
I've noticed subtle changes with this one especially with her mom and her being an only child. She wasn't in the…
I'm with you. They better not rob us of a complete happy ending. We already know they're going to end up together that's a given. Give us more. Please and thank you.. LOL.
So do they have another baby at the end like the other versions??? I’m seriously thinking like “what if “…
I've noticed subtle changes with this one especially with her mom and her being an only child. She wasn't in the version I saw with Ethan Juan. Also it appears they're laying a foundation for the audience to sympathize with Anna. It appears they have removed some dumb irrelevant stuff like the kidnapping scene, the blackmail plot and I noticed in this one they're not going to make her suddenly good enough at pottery to be put in a gallery, she is slowly working on it making things here and there. I like how they're slowly building the character of the FL and showing the slow progression of maturity in the ML. They did have a baby at the end of the version I saw so it appears they're sticking fairly close to that one with Ethan Juan so I believe they will have another baby at then end because even in this one they're building their attachment to children through the birth of her cousin's son it would be cruel not to give them a baby at the end after developing that bond and expectation. I hope they give them one at the end.
