I hate this so much right now

I really hate how they added this unnecessary conflict of the male lead having (had) a fiancée. This just doesn't fit the story (and doesn't exist in the webtoon). Like yeah it makes sense he'd have one because he's a chaebol but the story itself doesn't fit it because he is so in love with her that he's never really wanted anything else.

In the webtoon once they get together, that's it, they're always together and rely on each other no matter what, they communicate and they trust each other, while here, Jiwon is alone

Even her friendships aren't that deep, it's just her by herself and Jihyuk will help her but with this drama it's kind of ruined a part of their relationship for me...

I know showing the cells is the whole point of the show but the animation is so boring that it takes me out of the story and spoils everything for me 😅😅 also, it's so cringe I can't 🙈

I personally believe that their positions in the bedroom are none of my business, so every time somebody discusses top or bottom I feel annoyed but also uncomfortable, not to mention that none of the BL shows have even mentioned the possibility of any of the couples being versitile ??‍♀️

Ooof I totally get you. I'd also continue but I just can't. I think I might just watch it after it's finished only if I decide to further talk about it because everybody on the internet says how they wouldn't watch the show but then nobody says why and I think people should know how messed up it is.

I also don't have high hopes for them showing that step-brothers' relationship in that way although if they did that would be way better than what they are doing. I wouldn't have a problem with them being step-siblings if it wasn't for what the younger one did.

Xing Si doesn't utter a single word during that scene, he's half uncoscious. He had to be carried to bed. Anybody who has to be carried to bed isn't conscious enough to make a choice regarding sex.
He did not participate. He did not touch him, he did not enjoy it.

(a real fact: bodies naturally react to touch, you can't help that. The same way an asexual can get aroused by touch and still not feel physically attarcted to the person touching them, when there's non-consensual acts, the body still reacts)

AGAINST YOUR GODDAMN WILL because no sane person goes to a party and expects to get fucked while unconscious, least of all by your younger brother, blood or no blood relation.

If this was featuring a female getting raped, nobody would be enjoying it or people would be victim-blaming and slut-shaming.

Xing Si may have voluntarily drunk the alcohol but he did NOT voluntarily fuck his brother, he was barely conscious.

(and yes, he got just a single room with just a single bed because Yong Jie insisted on it and not bc he wanted a single room with a singular bed in it. )

Thank you for telling me about the trailer scene, what he said is problematic on so many levels and I'm i dropped it before i had to see someghing else. This show could've discussed how sexual assualt is overlooked when it comes to men because all that has happened and will happen in the drama proves it and people who disagree that this was not rape also prove the point. Became if this was between a man and a woman, 90% of the people qho disagree with us would suddenly change their opinions.
