Fun But Kind of Lacking

The plot has a strong premise, but the execution does not fully live up to it. The idea of former military members teaming up to stop a terrorist is compelling, yet the story takes too long to reach its central conflict. By the time the team is finally assembled, nearly three quarters of the series has already passed, which significantly weakens the pacing and overall momentum. The main villain is also absent for much of the show, making him feel underdeveloped. His motivations lack clarity and depth, which lessens the impact of the central threat.
Even accounting for the show’s comedic tone, some character choices are off putting. The tech character, in particular, comes across as creepy in the way he behaves toward the female agent, and this undercuts the humor rather than enhancing it. Still, the series remains somewhat enjoyable. The cast does the best they can with the material they are given, and their performances are largely what kept the show engaging enough to not completely lose interest.
