This drama made me realize that actors who have done well in other genres besides romantic comedy and then decides to do romantic comedy is taking a big risk. Oh Nana.
I'm an avid fan of a different Jang Nara drama (where her chemistry with the ML was so undeniable IMO) so I was a bit skeptical about the expected "romantic chemistry" between HJA and OIB. However, so far in the story, I like how their relationship have gradually progressed from 'professional' to casual and eventually (soon) to that of friendship. The characters and their relationships are written well and acting is executed naturally that viewers could actually focus and get invested in the storyline (and not on what is lacking). Not giving too much focus on the romance makes it more likeable (and more kilig, if you know what I mean haha). Also, I get amazed at how Jang Nara could still make me tearful when she cries over something I could not completely relate to. I'm yapping too much. Bottom line is, "Sell Your Haunted House" is a drama worth watching, it doesn't disappoint.
I'm just halfway through the drama but I'm dying to see romantic love lines for Ms. Ko. Would there be any? I mean either Mr. Do or Mr. Ji would be nice.
A memorable drama for me. Worth a re-watch. I got a bit curious about the UK and US versions, but after seeing their trailers, I don't think I'd look for another flavor of this show. I like my Han Tae Joo just fine.
Could someone please explain the writer situation to me? I’ve heard that the writer get changed but don’t…
Original writer, Yeo Ji Na, is credited up until Episode 12. I think from Episode 13 till the end, Director Yoo wants to change how the story was originally written, to give way for a second season. It seems Ms. Yeo, taking pride in the way the she has excellently written the previous episodes, doesn't want to give in to the director's request. But it seems PD Yoo is resolute for season 2 so the change still eventually happens. I personally think the change of writers didn't do much damage, although there was a dip in the ratings, it was only slight. Many viewers still remained.
Does anyone know the accurate time for when the next episodes eng sub version will be uploaded.?
It depends on where you live, I think. But in my case, since I live in the Philippines (+8 GMT), new episode is available 30 minutes after the airing in Korea (11:00 PM PH time).
An apology from Ae-jeong to Dae-o would be more satisfying than any romantic scene. And an honest talk with Ha-nee would help a lot to open herself up to her dad in the least possible way.
I could not seem to put my self to understand Ae-jeong's decision to leave Oh Dae-o 14 years ago. There must still be some detail that needs to be revealed to justify her decision to leave Dae-o in the dark about her pregnancy.
