I get why the drama went off a cliff and won't return to Season 1 glory, they removed the secret/spy agent elements and turned clever characters into average ones. Rather than losing her memory (which halts progress and feels contrived), Chu Qiao should step up as leader of her mother’s sect and use that position to build something new and compelling.
