Ah! Yes! I've watched and read that one and he also somehow give the same impression as Li Xun. Introvert male tends to be judged more harshly, I guess.
Honestly, the anger that Li Xun felt for what Gao had done and on how hard it was for him to forgive him was understandable once you put yourself in his shoes. I mean, he basically lost his only family because of Gao's manipulation. Like that was seriously beyond infuriating. If the person I treated as a friend did that to me I might have lost my logic, too.

I think those who find Li Xun toxic have set a perfect standard for a character who should know how to perfectly deal with everyone and to anything but in reality we really can't do that without having to go through heaps of experiences and mistakes.
Oh my ghAaaaddd! I’ve finished it and I don't know how to move on now! I love how imperfect the characters are especially Li Xun. He's a typical cold arrogant protagonist but at the same time, he's also different from others. Whereas Zhu Yun is such a sweet lovely and unconditional loving female protagonist. She's vulnerable but she's not a damsel in distress who always need a knight because she's a knight herself.
Now I wonder where the toxicity was in this series because all I saw were normal bickering, bantering and mistakes rendered by human vulnerability and most importantly the love that Li Xun and Zhu Yun have for each other.
Ep27 in and oh my ghaaaaddd!!! I wasn't well-informed that this is ridiculously and crazily addictive! I'm already sank deep in this Lighter & Princess hole and I think there's no more going back and I am not complaining at all!
I'm already on ep18! And yes just like all of you here I'm now down bad for this show! OH MY GHHAAAD!!! That confession kiss sent me tingles all over my body! AAAHHHH
your comment reminded me a famous meme: - 10 good reviews and 1 bad and the customer reaction is like: ahaaa!…
Lol but I didn't said anything about this series being bad though. I just find it bewildering that in the sea of good reviews one had the guts to say it was romanticizing toxic relationship. Moreover, I'm already on ep18 and I haven't yet find anything toxic with their relationship. So, be rest assured.
I've seen the ppt on reddit about this and it got me curious. I've read some comments and came across few reviews. A lot says that this is good but I saw one review saying it is romanticizing toxic relationship for a whole 36ep? But then, I'd like to try and see it for myself.
The writers bloody did several characters dirty here, the notably ones are Miho, Hye Jin and Joo Hee.
The writers took all of us so high only to watch us plummet terribly in the finale; equally to what they committed in Vagabond. I'm done with them beaches lol
P.S.: these writers seems to fancy commencing their stories in a complex grand route but has the bloody uncalled for tendency in departing the story in a means that leaves with more questions than answers. I am surely going to circumvent from their future projects. I was traumatized. LOL
Funny how some takes everything this series throws at us very literally. This is a mystery drama where we're bound to put every puzzle pieces together and clues here are given very very subtly to an extent that it'll hurt our brain. Lol
If the Room Leader is the real powerful and greteast conman Big Mouse, I'm sorry but he doesn't embodies it. His revelation as Big Mouse didn't answer a lot of questions rather several things became further confusing.
Let's be reminded that we're dealing with a conman in this series, the "greatest" conman who is Big Mouse. A conman fools his targets, making them believe what he wants them to believe. He'll do and say things over and over again just to prove that he's telling the truth yet most of it are lies and the only character who's able to pull off such act was Park Chang Ho.
Choi Do Ha is the one who stole the golds in order for the elder to disfavour Gong Ji Hoon. It is also why PCH asked Gong Ji Hoon if he's certain that he's the one who stole his golds. Yeah, my theory still stand: PCH is Big Mouse until the writer reveal it's not him. Lmao!
Totally agree. I posted my theory about the 4th wall after episode 2 and no matter how many times I consider other…
I don't trust those flashback either especially that they were told by Changho I have big trust issue towards him lol. Honestly if the viewer won't see the story through the perspective of the 4th wall theory it is easy to be confused and get fooled by him. Also, I just can't buy the split personality theory and even the twin brother plot because it would take away the essence of the 4th wall theory which he's been breaking for several times now and BM being the greatest conman won't make sense. Another thing I noticed: in ep1 Changho couldn't tie his necktie properly yet in ep8 he's done it seamlessly. Secondly, his narration during the nearing end of ep8: he said the perfect place to hide the truth is in lies, that line impeccably implies of what a conman does isn't it? Also he added: people gets confused about what is true and what is a lie yet they choose to believe the lies that sounds true. This line of him is very much a giveaway for me. It's like he's saying people believes his narration because they sound true and he keeps mixing the truth with his lies. The 4th wall theory is like a direction for us viewers to differentiate his lies from his truth. Lol I don't know if I'm making sense now this story is seriously a swindler itself haha
Lol the mere fact that PCH has broken the 4th wall for several times is very telling... I said it last week and I'll say it again for the second time: Do not trust everything that Park Chang Ho is saying or doing!!!
True. All those scenes abt him communicating with BM could just be scenarios he made up in his head to fool the…
Hmm... I dunno? Lol. I pretty much can't expound that for now sorry lol.
However, the title in hangul is pretty much a clue for me: mouth and mouse are spelled and pronounced similarly in hangul. That somehow demonstrate that the ML could be both the Big Mouth and the Big Mouse at least for me. There are also certain instances that proves my belief that PCH is BM but the breaking of the 4th wall theory is pretty much solidifying my belief and making the others with sense lol. Also, I felt an equal gut feeling during Mouse so I'm sticking to my belief until everything is unwrap. But this is just me, you can have your own speculations, too. 😊
Yup. Like kdrama previews he is a liar who lies and is not to be trusted haha. This is my favorite theory bc it…
After watching certain swindler films, I figured out that risking their safety is part of swindling/fooling people. It's part of how they convince people. Anyway, let's just anticipate for the story's full unfolding and keep on guessing lol

If we're looking through the perspective of 'breaking the 4th wall' theory, yes, we cannot trust anything he does and say and everything could have been premeditated by him especially if he's narrating the episode since he could be directing the story only according to his liking — omitting here and there and since he's also conning even us the viewers. Remember, were dealing with the greatest swindler of the current times. Lmao

For someone who has a solid goal and has been working on it for years... yes, he could be disposed to risked even his own life. Moreover, he highly likely discerns he won't be killed since Gong Jihoon needs him and that the penitentiary is being watched by warden Park. Moreover, he didn't kicked off his plans without knowing all this since he's a genuis swindler who has planned it all along: he's step ahead than anyone.
Whether this is factual or a mere big guess nor your speculation is the truth will be figured out only as the story progresses. But since I'm into the 'breaking the 4th wall' concept this assumption makes sense.

This is 11/10 for me!

I rest my case. Lol
