Haha Eternal Monarch and Big Mouth both had an ambitious plot that immensely failed to deliver. Yes, ironically the theories were more brilliant than the story itself. Those moments were what made this series enjoyable
I was right all along. It has become predictable and even the ending was expected. The series majority revolved around Big Mouse and when he was revealed the massive suspense that it holds has evaporated in the toxic air of Gucheon City whereas Chang Ho's brilliant strategic mind was abandoned in the prison.
If only the writers didn't tried so hard to feed us so much potential for a what's supposed to be an intelligent series only to offer such run-of-the-mill conclusion, the disappointment won't be this immense for me. I guess, they stayed true to the title of the story — it's just all big talk.
I never knew I'd encounter another genuis story wannabe like the Eternal Monarch.
Anyway, thank you for disappointing me Big Mouth. I wasted 8 precious weeks for you.
From being the most unpredictable plot it went down to being predictable. The theories were more interesting now than the actual story. Several characters were also wasted.
When you're playing a game you use your head not your heart. Emotion kills. The mc only survived out of unbelievable luck jeez he never uses his brain.
She's mindful of her decision being palpably wrong and yet she still pursue it, for what? For a second ride of mental exhaustion and traumatising experience? What's the purpose of this show even? Oh, what a load of foolishness and bloody bull this show is.
There's too much biaseness, saltines and over analyzation of characters in this comment section trying to uplift one while downgrading the other. I hope you have the same energy in understanding the real people though.
What I see is: Dalmi is in love with the letters not with the person. Just like how I fall in love with a character in a book but not with the author. Okay bye.
I love this story sooooooooo much!!! Not just because I love danharu couple so much too but because it reminds me of a life lesson. You know no matter how we have control over our life there are just certain circumstances that we cannot avoid from happening no matter what kind of path we take because it was destined to take place. So yeah. It's a harsh reality but that doesn't mean we can't be happy right? Like Haru and Dan Oh although they have a harsh reality they still make their moments together special. I love stories that gives me life lessons although there are cliché scenes and many plot holes what's important to me is the lesson it will give me that I can apply in real life. All in all this story is enjoyable.
