sorry but these girls are on this show are here because normal guys dont give them a chance in the real world.all…
yes, i understand that is the point of the show, but there is a stark contrast in the attitudes of the boys and girls. the girls are all polite, willing to get to know other people, and have basic manners on how to keep conversations going or treat people that they may not be into. the guys besides hyukjoon and jinwoo so far seem to not have basic etiquette on how to communicate.
for example, in episode 1, hanju tried to get to know jaeseo without mentioning that she was into haejoon, but jaeseo did not try to get to know her or ask questions back, and tried to leave as soon as possible. he even rejected her indirectly. even if the girls aren't necessarily into the candidates, they try to get to know them, but some of the guys don't reciprocate that energy. kim tae-hoon doesn't know how to give respect, and he stayed quiet during the whole date with suji instead of asking questions. when meeting soohyun on the first date, jaeseo started talking about sooyeon instead of getting to know her properly, and on the second date, he kept talking about video games instead of getting to know her again. seunghyun did similar things with suji in episode 4's 10 minute spot dates, while jeongun was present and still got to know seunghyun even though she didn't like him. the producers should probably spend more time training the guys like they did with jungyun through mock blind dates or bring in less mature girls and on the same etiquette/communication level as the boys
i'm currently on episode 2, and i watched the first season. i always feel like the girls are sincere and willing to give their all to get into a relationship. the guys in both seasons seem to not be able to read social cues, don't seem to try their best to get in a relationship or fully explore (ex: pubg guy not attempting to make small talk with hanju), or are just straight up red flags (tall guy who wanted to change his voice and has been obsessive over the one girl). i get that this show is supposed to give guys like this a chance, but it always seems like a major disservice to the girls to get dating partners like this. the guys should all definitely be given training on dating or basic etiquette.
i also wish that the producers took compatibility into account when picking the contestants, and making sure everyone has someone who is their "ideal type" personality or maybe even looks wise. i enjoy watching this show, but it seems expected that no one is going to come out of this as a couple. and my poor girl hanju!! all participants should have at least someone who would be a good match for them on paper. it seems like the producers focus a lot on people who have attractive stories and seem like good fits individually but not how they mey all fit together.
no offense to anyone but i really dont like any of the people in the second scenario besides hyunjin. it pmo how inconsiderate junsung was with the curry... you could've at least asked if hyunjin (the person you've been with for the last 6 hours) would like curry? i get he likes jiyoung and doesnt want to lead her on but it just feels like thats basic manners. also common sense if they've been outside for 6 hours they should be full. sihyun seems like a player and red flag, like he wants both of the girls to only like him. i dont know how i feel about jiyoung either im kind of just neutral on her but it was a little irritating to see her constantly say she was threatened by hyunjin. this is a dating show and you've only known her for one day, she's not going to snipe you if you talk to sihyun
watching this right now and i love the attention to detail. in one of the earlier episodes the ml drops something under the couch, and you can see the flash drive sitting there. in ep 23 fl looks under the couch because of the cat and finds it. im shocked that they would show it so early on
im so lost why does the other guy want to end haeseoks career so badly? i thought they established he wasnt at fault with good morning cream and it was the other guy who committed's fault
im confused on how fl doesn't recognize se-gye from her past. i get that he has the thing over his eye, but is she unable to make out his face from the rest of his features? or is it because the memory has become very distant for her? i'm assuming that a lot of time passed in between her love for past-life se-gye and her poisoning since her personality changed so drastically.
the first and last time I saw FL before this drama was in the glory. I was a bit worried before starting this that I would continue to associate her with her previous role, but she's done amazing here! just got through episode 5 and realized i haven't thought about the glory once. she is truly such an amazing and versatile actress. i know that is the case for many but she makes you feel such strong emotions through all of her work. whether its anger or laughter
technically couldn't LYS have become a neurologist after losing his ability to perform surgery? ik thats kind of irrelevant to the plot but just wondering
Can someone spoil me why the ML acts like that when he is with the FL? What's their backstory? He seems to be…
The ML fell in love with the FL at a gathering. He's been interested in her ever since. His friend called him in the beginning of ep 1 to tell him that the "FL" really wanted to go on a blind date with him. He was driving to see her when the accident happened which forced him to abandon his career as a surgeon. He was frustrated because the "FL" wanted to meet him and never ended up checking up on him or even remembering him even though the meeting is what caused his accident. The thing is that it's a misunderstanding, the FL's stepsister is the one who wanted to go on a blind date with ML and FL didn't even know who ML was until joining the company.
the chemistry between the leads was unreal. some of the best i've seen out of any drama i've watched. but i hated that they added the father issue as a reason for them to break up. the defamation couldn't even be cleared up at the end or used against the chief in sentencing. what was the point of that? we never even found out what happened in the chief's reading. also i hate that jihae and nara's cheating was redeemed at the end. still would recommend it to watch, was really fun at the beginning and the murder case was pretty interesting
I think the concept of the show was exciting and intriguing, but the execution could've been a bit better. I enjoyed the panelists and their reactions and found them relatable. However, I don't like how they introduced new people ("bombshells") , gave them like 5 minutes of screentime, and then threw them into the abyss. They didn't even give the little tidbits of them in their rooms or possibly alone on dates. There were so many girls that left alone that deserved to find someone better. I guess you can't really control the contestants, but still
i'm really trying to like this and continue watching, but i feel like i'm seriously losing the plot? why is she obsessing so hard over a friendship she had in grade school and obsessing over such minuscule things?? why are they BOTH obsessing this hard? i can understand yingtao's reactions and feelings in liking a boy, but why is it a boy that you had literally lost contact with in elementary school? im fine with a drama where the fl chases the ml (although it hurts my soul a bit), but i cant just understand the reasoning behind it. don't know if i can push through it just for the sake of the actors.
LMAOO i was just going through my list to find out this drama finally came out?? after like 4 years? anyways i'll definitely be watching after I catch up with bon appetit your majesty!!
