Question: are the vip episodes subbed on the US wetv app? How about the extras? (For s2 as well?)
I tried watching s2 on YouTube, but them cutting off the original background music and replacing it with random horrible soundtracks was ruining it for me ;(
I'm disappointed :/ I've been looking forward to the Korean version since it was announced and I was hoping they'd change things around to not make it a complete remake...but it is mostly the exact same thing. I guess I was expecting more (hoping they'd make it more unique and build upon the original instead of copy/paste with minor changes here and there) since South Korea produces so many superior shows.
I can safely say that this is now on my list of top Dilraba dramas, ELOD, The Long Ballad, You are My Glory and now this one. The list is growing! She's choosing some amazing dramas now and I can't wait to see what else she does in the future. Hopefully another Fantasy Romance is next after Prosecution Elite :)
I'm definitely going to be rewatching TBW again soon. Soooo good! Especially part 2, since the slow buildup (slow but, perfectly paced) in part 1 compliments part 2 perfectly and enhances the second half of the drama.
So dang good! I binged the whole show over the last two days and it was such a beautifully handled show. I will eventually read the novel to see the differences, but the show was complete even with only 42 episodes. I felt like the length was absolutely perfect and they didn't drag the story anywhere. This is definitely a very very well made show and I am so happy that we got to see their happy endings
So disappointed in her :/ she's always been one of the few actresses I look forward to seeing on screen. Driving under the influence is so irresponsible and not only a danger to oneself, but also others...so many innocents have lost their lives because of drunk drivers
Did they really just release every single episode from s1 and s2 all at once?! Okay, wow, did not expect that. A really good surprise! Considering how upset I was over the way the subs were handled, this definitely helps make up for most of it...minus the fact that a lot of the story was spoiled for me while i was just casually browsing for Dilraba content like I always do. Going to have to figure put how to avoid that for LoA. Still, I can now finally watch the show and now I can binge watch it, yes!
I'm really looking forward to this show too. A lot of people seem to love saying that Dilraba is just a beautiful face, but if she were just that, I wouldn't be able to connect to her shows. She's been trying different types of dramas and has done a fabulous job for all of them. Hopefully, even if those didn't, this show will get people to acknowledge her skills
The complete lack of care towards the international audience is so disappointing. I've been waiting for the official english subs, but unfortunately spoiled the story for myself while waiting for them :/ at least now I know not to trust youku or whoever does the international release for them. Totally ruined the experience for me since I didn't read the whole novel on purpose just so i wouldn't know the full story and could enjoy the show blind. Unfortunately, they still have another Dilraba drama...and I'm guessing it'll be the same for that one. I don't know how I'll be on here or other fan communities without spoiling the story for that one too -.-
I'll still watch it because I adore Dilraba and I know this is an amazing drama, but I definitely won't get the full joy that I would have gotten if I could have watched it blind along side everyone else and not have the story spoiled for me
I wonder if the drama will actually be two parts with 30 episodes each or if it's shorter and only one season. The filming finished super fast? You are My Glory is only 27 episodes and it took almost four months. Still, happy the filming is done with so now we can start hoping for new content and wait for the drama to release
I'm so surprised it finished filming so fast. Is it actually going to be 60 episodes? Could it be less? Now onto the wait for Dilraba to film her next amazing drama :) And of course the one year (hope for less) wait until this one releases. The book is beautiful so far and i'm really looking forward to seeing it brought to life by this amazing cast and crew
So after The (amazing) Long Ballad ends, this is next on my list of obsessions lol. I'll be stalking this for new updates. Hoping it airs before August <3
I can't wait for Yu Tu and Jing Jing to come to life on our screens! :)
Idk why, but the last episode or two of most Korean dramas are almost always a bit disappointing to me. Same here (I was so hoping this would be one of the rare exceptions). But overall, I LOVED this drama. I have so many characters that I absolutely adore (The whole Cassano Family, including the new additions!) I also really liked the younger brother (tough life) by the end ( until....this bit i was expecting, but hoping it wouldn't...the way that whole scene was handled was one of the most disappointing moments of the show for me) and the silly Lawyer (he was hilariously pathetic) Of course Vincenzo himself was the best bit. It's rare seeing such a dark main character. It made for a lot of epic moments.

Finally seeing a few of my favs coming back on screen. Kim Sae Ron and now Han Hyo Joo
