This drama is quite good and dong shik is such a great character. When he found out thag jin mook was the killer my heart broke for him. I want to give him a big hug. He's suffered alot. Now for joo won... not only is he stupid but he is also an idiot. I've never wanted to slap a character so bad. How was he the top student in uni... he is dumb. He does not use his brain. He literally arrives to conclusions even an idiot knows it would not help. The writer better gives us a good reason why he suspects dong shik (was one of the victim his mom?), basically stalking him... like he doesn't even want to find other suspects, he just wants it to be dong shik. How can we consider him a good detective????? He thinks he's rational but he is just an idiot. And the last shot with him catching jin mook... urgh... i wish it would have been dong shik. He deserved to catch jin mook... after investing evrything he had he could finally catch that fucker ... it would have been more poignant and emotionally satisfying... i mean, jin mook toyed with him for years. Taking care of his mom, his daughter being like a daughter to dong shik... so cruel... dong shik should have caught him instead... all those years being toyed with... the anger, pain, betrayal but also happiness...but no... they let the loser catch him ... a person who till the last minute suspected dong shik, ow saying jin mook is fucked... literally doing a 180°... i bet dong shik had to tell him it was jin mook... urgh. Gosh this episode made me cry tears of joy. My son yushi gu has suffered so much now gets to finally receive some happiness. The emotions am feeling right now... after everything he's been through he gets to finally show his parent this kind, gentle and supportive man he has in his life. This lover boy who's loves him with all his heart. The amazing man who goes works to make his life as comfortable as possible cos he knows to shi has been through a lot. A man who will eat carrot everyday for the rest of his life lol... that's some dedication. We thank the universe for bringing hao ting and his amazing friend to his life. I also love how yu shi is so soft with him... how he takes care of haoting. The way the look at each other and care for each other is so inspiring!!!! I want this kind of love. Anyway that bed scene was so intimate I loved it. I most especially love that it was not explicit cos their love is so pure and innocent there was no need to show much. God when everyone was crying I was also crying with them! It was so heartwrenching cos everyone's feelings and emotions were valid and understandable. About Tharn, as u said he couldn't say he had no feelings also because he's not had closure! This was a person he was deeply in love with who left him with no reason... the fact that he didn't demand an explanation is really mindblowing. In situations like these every emotion you ones had for this person comes back at ones! Everything is supercharged that it's hard to think straight. And as you said he handled it as best as he could. I also think he lied to Type because he's afraid type will break up with him if he finds out. I think that's a negative thing about tharn. He's so giving, he wants to make he's partner happy but he's afraid of opening up Cos of his past heartbreaks. He thinks that his burden will make the other run away... the low self esteem. I hope he learns to open up Cos type loves with all his heart (even though he's a tsundere lol). Oh i loved how after type copied the number from tharn's phone he holds his thumb as if to say :"am not letting you go... you're mine, am not going to lose you". Such a small detail but super effective. Anyways am rewatching that couch scene cos it's so good!!!!
Can we!! I love how Type was craving attention because he definitely sensed that something was bothering Tharn so he's was being his naughty self and how tharn definitely knew what he was doing. The level of understanding they have now literally brings tears to my eyes. They're so comfortable with each other it's so heartwarming. And the moment type was playing with tharn's hair... So jealous! My favourite moment was how they both confessed to being happy. Like how Type literally said he was happy!!!!!!!!!!! Oh Lord take the wheel... I effing screamed of happiness. And I love that! I think the show really excels when it's dealing with emotional and dramatic themes. I love love love how they're portraying Tar's trauma. What he's been through is horrific and it's very hard to open up about. So it's understandable why he can't tell Tharn but unfortunately time does not stand still for us... time moves on... everyone moves on with their lives and that's what Tharn did. I love that he was mature enough at the end to accept Tharn' s answer. And Tharn... my baby, I bet he's definitely blaming himself after knowing how Tar was/is suffering that's why he couldn't answer Type's question. He's too good for this world (And I don't think a person like him exists in this world... he's too good to be true). Type also made me really cry... when he's saw tharn and tar... my heart broke with him... everyone character was so good in this episode. Gosh! This episodes was sooo good and the use of music was excellent. The piano piece really did elevate the emotional scenes. Also the use of silence really made everything feel more real, more intense, more close to home. Loved it. This episode my heart broke for everybody... at one moment I was feeling giddy about tharntype's cute moment and the other i was effing crying with all the characters. This show has really made me empathise with the characters in a very strong way... it feels like i know these characters in real life as if they were one of my friends... Am happy for them when they're happy and I feel sad for them when they're down. I love how Type has matured through the show. This episode he asked questions instead going straight for the punch. Just finished watching the latest ep. Pete's father and Sandee are the only sane and reasonable character in this show. GOD! The deserve an applause for giving Good advice and putting some sense in Pete and Kao. I like that in this show instead of the annoying female character trying break up our cp we have an annoying male. The amount of time rolled my eyes at Non gosh... i hope Kao can come out to the mom cos she knooooows. I mean it's understandable to want to be faithful to the novel (cos fans have a lot of expectations), But by doing that they put a limit on artistic choices or storytelling points that could work better on screen even if not identical to the novel (and as we all know sometimes things that are written don't translate well on screen). I hope they don't continue to blindly follow the novel but try to find ways to elevate it instead. And that might even bring in new perspective cos as always a story can be interpreted in many ways (obviously without losing the main point the author wanted to convey).
