You cannot compare two shows with two different plots! Thats like comparing Goblin to A korean Odyssey just because…
I will summarize what I saw, maybe that will help enlighten you!

TharnType had a MAJOR argument and yes that argument was not minor. They were discussing why Type refuses to talk about the marriage topic and also accept Tharn's casual proposal.
Let's look into, shall we?
We ended last week's episode with both guys having this argument an being pissed at each other.
You cannot expect them to brush it of especially when it concern their individual futures and their future togther if they can move past this.
Both of them think they are right because they both have valid reasons why they are not giving in to the other.
However, Tharn being Tharn wants their fighting to stop so he asks for a few days to cool down but no, Type gets angry about that and leaves.
Did you expect Type to agree to Tharn's request?
Definitely, no. That is not in Type's character! Agreeing to that proves that Tharn is right in their main issue which is still about whether they should get married or not.
Next morning, Tharn seeks amends from his love by trying to do something sweet for him which does not ends up well.
Here, the thought counts but it does not resolve anything.
Characters are gradually introduced and we see the dynamic of the CirPhu relationship. However, we see how different they are from our titular characters especially we see that they are still in their honeymoon phase. We meet an old friend and catches up on what he has been doing (still character intoduction).
Then we are led to Type's work place where we already knew his boss has it in for him but their scene specifically show how much the boss dislikes Type (using your own words, he was a d**k).
Type with all this pressures he is going through from his lover, his Dad still not accepting Tharn (got this based on their phone conversation) and his boss not being nice, he needs his friends and atleast some nights out to release some tension.
The first night out, introduces two old but important characters who will forever be there for Type no matter what he is going through (Techno and Champ).
We see their friendship and their usual bickering which proves that these three never let go of each other through the 7 years.
We also saw that Tharn, still do what he loves, singing and being on a stage.
Tharn sings Hold Me Tight which he wrote for Type in SS1 and dedicate it to people who are in love. This was his way of getting Type to forgive him for being unreasonable when Type was apologising for their fight.
Type enjoys this and even their friends notice how lovey-dovey he looks at his boyfriend.
We know the mood he gets when he sees Tharn playing. Then they...you hump like bunnies because they are just horny.
We also see that ChampNo know what their friends are upto. The issues I had were the editing and transition of this, I agree were not nicely done but the message the production team were trying to put across was there.
Fiat is not some character no one cares about.
He is the Lhong of this season. With this being said, I admit his introduction is pretty long but it is to show how a bossy and manipulative natured person like Fiat would want Type who is the bottom in his relationship as his Top. As the episodes go on, we will see what happens.
Fiat being a difficult patient is pretty obvious from the start since he is obnoxious and bossy to his own team/friends.
Type showing up and ominous music playing is to warn up viwers not to trust how Fiat will behave towards Type and how he can possibly be threat.

Now with everything, I have mentioned, do you still think the episode is boring?
Yes, there are issues with sounds, bgm and scene transitions but the acting is not boring .
The post production team definitely needs to correct their mistakes but do not generalise the whole show because of this.

8.7? Really? The rating for ITSAY is about right (9.5), but I'm learning to ignore the scores. Maybe 8.7 would…

Lets be honest the side couples would most likely carry the show, i get its TT show but they really dont give…
This is a complete lie! Are we watching the same show? Yes, there are problems with the sound, bgm and transition but apart from that...
Boy please! The acting is spot on! In SS1, they had communication problems and towards the end they tried to solve that. In SS2, they still fight but atleast they talk about it. They reason out why they are fighting, I admit they're both hot-headed because they think they are both right. But they talk, they know why they fight. Can they resolve and not fight again? That will not be realistic! That will not be TharnType! If you look at the way they protray their feelings, the small touches, the double meaning of their words, you will see the growth in their relationship and also see that this is a couple who have been together for seven years. They are not in the honeymoon phase but rather they know each other. They are at a pivot point, a crossroad if I may say, the next decision will influence their future. What will it be? Will Tharn acknowledge that Type want to be with him till the end but is afraid of the stigmatisation consequences it will have on their families? Or will Type acknowledge that Tharn is someone who always lost people except his family members and still has unresolved feelings relating to heartbreaks leading to his current insecurity? They are not perfect and will never be perfect. That is the message I got from the last two Eps. As for their NC scenes, they are adults who have been together for 7 years, should they need a specific reason to get it on? Although with their dialogues they do provide the reasons. I feel like people are expecting TharnType to suddenly lower their desires and be perfect characters. If this happened, I would have questioned the whole show!
