For viewers that dislike this but have an old fashion father with no sense of humour, do not know how to interract with woman, bottoms up everything to himself , u will get that idea. This is the exact character that the ML trying to portray lol.

Good looking guy with sweat talk and verbally expressive doesnt come in package lol and u certainly wont find it here in this drama, Dont watch if u r looking for something like that.

I love this drama. The main leads both understand their assignment very well, and this drama even got a very good reaction review from a famous fussy youtuber.

I know right? They probably dont know what is Sitcom. Sitcom and laughing background are inseperable and they production has yet to include a louder laughing effect with hand clapping at the same time.
I agree with you, the laughing effect didnt bother me either, im pretty much focus on the story that i didnt even realised there were laughter backgroung being played. My hubby only heard my laughter, mine was louder than the sitcom lmao

As i watched Pck, Mr.Bean, Friends....etc, i dont even expect anything, just relax myself to watch whats given and it really lifted me up. Its stressfull enough going through our daily life, we need this to calm and relax our mind off from all the hard days.
Its pretty hard for people to adjust from kdrama to sitcom. Then they tried so hard to complain hoping it'll turn into kdrama 🙄

Their shooting for this drama doesnt go on sequence by episode. They started the drama shooting progress on this scene first. Hyx ears was red the whole time.

Hope u can watch kdrama named Kill Me Heal Me, you will see what is a real annoying FL like. The screaming was astounding. The begining of that story already felt uncomfortable but tolerate throughout the whole drama because the ML was hilarious.

It is not a sad ending. The truth is this drama was a happy ending. According to the author of
the book it wasn't but they made up the drama to be happy ending.
The whole drama was a story of the ML portraying both Author and ML character.

It started off by Author telling this sleeping beauty story to "Children"
While the ending on the clift author (wearing a normal clothing) carried FL(according to the book) but the scene clothing changed to general clothing (the story was meant for children) and it ended there because there was a hidden ep. 36. You can search it on yt.
So "the drama" was a children story told by author Guanshan to children
And..
The inside of the story ML was the same actor Zhang Ye Chen.
The company Mango channel wanted to earn more profit out of this story so they cut the ending halfway on the clift part. Viewers have to pay if they want to watch the happy ending ep. 36
Luckily someone uploaded it on yt.
Even if viewers didn't watch it, they still happy reminiscing them by watching their Behind The Scene interaction of these couple, they were so hilarious. It's on yt mango channel, so many episodes of them. Only disadvantage was that the Bts didn't sub in english

English sub were weird as well, they probably just straight forward from Google translation.
All other Chinese site I found with subs were broken link or have been taken down. My guessing are probably Mango channel monitored them. Or someone just doesn't want this series to go popular.

If in that case then I rather the story just ended with him sitting besides Wan Wan staring the scenery because in reality Wan Wan sort of in long term coma. It's still a beautiful ending this way, much much more better than jumping off cliff devastating, I really felt uncomfortable of suiciding.
All those travel through time story is just a magical story written by Guan Shan so that both could live in a story forever.

Even though I love Zhang Ye cheng chemistry with female lead in The sleepless princess but you know what....
This male lead will make you fall for this drama, you don't even need to know who he pairs up with. His dangerous dashing looks and staring will draws you in.

Since the princess dad can talk to him in that wormhole(near blossom tree)
Why not make an exceptional where message can sent through to Xue Yao where he can able to see her awake on that wormhole place right? I mean yeah, I really don't like the alternate ending especially there's a big gap where their son already grown child. It's like the writer forcing the viewer by saying
"Hey, viewers get over it already" it's ended, time to wake up.

I have no idea if that was written by ML though.

This main actor made me marathon on another 2 dramas which was love of thousand years and an oriental odyssey.
All with weird ending. I only want to watch him as main role, other drama which he took up as supporting role I can't finish watching them. I really love to watch his acting.

I felt the original ending should make the princess awake instead of making an alternate ending. That particular place at the end was a time travelling point where she can see through time so I think it should writen in a way that she can be awaken only at "that place* near the blossom tree.

I find that Lee Joon Gi never really involve much of intense romance drama. Probably he hand pick the one that he likes to work on more of expressing a different kind of character rather than giving in to fans request. The romance involve type of dramas he involved is either have a plain happily ever after or Never Meant To BE.
What i meant the intense of romance that want me to expect a bed scene kinda intense alluring kind lmao. He is more of a professional expressing ALL kinda character but not so much of romance. I always search through his profile for any new drama if i wants to take a break from romance drama haha.
Really looking forward to this, i love Mcw so much, i love this pairing. I know this will be
trilling kinda drama which is why i will watch it.

If you are a woman with self respect you will hate this drama. Her 1st kiss gave by 2nd lead, she got swayed by an extreme eye starring 1st by 2nd lead. She and the 2nd lead went on the same no-ending route which is "single sided love".
The main lead actor basically just do his job, no personal emotional from the starting until 28th eps onwards and its dragging that the writer wrote it this way until the viewer abruptly just wants to give up. It's good ending in a dream world.

Reason for me to watch this is this cute Meng Yan but I hate her stickiness personality
2nd reason I'm watching is the 2nd lead and his supportive character.

You can ship Mo Bai's dad and Meng Yan's mom
You can ship Mong Bai' colleagues
But its a pain to ship Xiao Ke Ming and Meng Yan because you just hate her character
And its hard to even ship both main characters where He ditched her too many times.

The worst drama I've dreadfully watch in my entirely life
