One of the most difficult dramas I have ever watched. Difficult in that each week I felt mired in a depressing…
agree with you wholeheartedly. I'm just glad they foreshadowed the ending so well so I could brace myself.

Title Reflection of You Spoiler
Question for those who weren’t satisfied by the ending, what would you change and what kind of ending would…
I didn't want WJ to die. He got punished enough without tying, I thought.

WJ is the real evil person.
Why though? Just curious about why his sins seem so much worse than that of an adultere, an abusive school teacher manipulating children instigating kidnapping and an attempted murderer?

Is this show worth watching? I dropped it i think half way through ep 3. Every time i saw Goo Hae Won i felt sick…
I love it and highly recommend it. It's a slow build but rhey keep ratcheting up the tension and the story always goes to an unexpected place in the best way.

I'm laughing how amnesia Woojae still has some decency, especially towards Haewon, but then turn to completely…
I don't he's being cruel. They weren't in a proper marriage. Yes, he ghosted her but it's been 10 years, it's time for her to get over it. A part of me thinks he's being cruel to be kind, but basically he has Hui Joo blinders on. He doesnt see anyone else but her. Including himself.

I like the show but ep 13 is hard to watch & enjoy because of how much it follows Woo Jae around.
Nah, I'd follow that pretty around all day.

Even though ksh has done male lead roles before startup he wasn't playing male lead in big productions... He wasn't…
Actually disagree with the examples there, though your point stands. School 2017 is part of a beloved franchise, I know many who were just as excited for Woo Do Hwan as Lee Min Ho (and I think WDH was pretty well known), and Lee Dong Work was a bone fide Hallyu star in 2009. So don't think the examples work. I think Jung Hae In is a better example.

What the heck happened? What's with the rating and numerous bad reviews? Almost downloaded all eps and were waiting…
I don't regret watching it because of one character I fell in love with, though I didn't like the ending. The cinematography is great, OST is decent, it's breezy and the comedy is good. You couldn't pay me to re-watchg the drama, but I'll watch all my favorrite characters scenes over and over again on youtube.

Don't know if this will be helpful.

After read the ending, I will just drop it. I'm happy that I waited, so I will not waste my time.
Don't drop it though. Jun Hwi and Cheong Ah are with it.

Wow she chose the one who gave scars over the one who actually tried to heal her? Was i watching an isekai supernatural…
Exactly. The only reason I was okay with the ending was because of Jun Hwi and Cheong Ah. The other irony was the Mun Tae Rang gave up on Seol Ah because of Hae Rang. But Jin Woo was brazen enough to still go after Seol Ah and he's the one who gets rewarded. Ugh.

I sort of thought that was why they made her a dancer was for Western audience appeal? At the time it came out…
Maybe they didn't want to explain why the champion kept drowning?

Title Why R U?
Love it so far. Episode 9 really raised the bar with bed scenes, on the level with Tharntype. I missed Saifah…
Not sure I would say TharnType level - because TharnType was really steamy, but FT definitely have top notch romantic chemistry which I think is a deliberate choice by the director.

Completely agreed about NaNa and the FL in Black. I think Na Na has made me dislike Park Min Young, in fact - she's definitely a pill I have to swallow to get to the goodness of the male leads - because she gets the good ones. Sigh. Oh Hae Young - didn't register enough for me to be honest, and I'm not too fond of Shin Se Kyung - she managed to get me to put Rookie Historian on hold so I wouldn't be surprised if I end up hating her in SFD too (and I'm saving SFD for a time when I need a really good drama to watch).

I think where the show is failing for me is that they've put the focus on the wrong things. I realize narratively the focus should be on Si Wol and Hae Rang, and Jin Woo and Seol Ah - but I don't know Si Wol, can't stand Hae Rang and he's a big baby. What I'm interested in are Jun Hwi's struggles and Cheong Ah's and Tae Rang's family and Seol Ah, in that order. So the more the show tries to focus on Si Wol and Hae Rang the more interest I lose. Side characters are there to service the leads' stories and not become leads for a reason. Their story is important but in how it impacts my lead couple. Jun Hwi and Cheong Ah keep breaking my heart and making me smile and I need more of them, not Si Wol.
