was hooked by the ost, which was heard a few years ago, sung by chuu on ditto (2022) which was also from the old…
I was so surprised when I heard that. Had to listen to it twice to make sure it was not just coming from somewhere else :D

I really hope the story will go on, maybe in a few years, I don't care. It was so nostalgic seeing the old gang together and I never thought I could support a team other than Mizusawa :D but Umezono really grew on me and the series kept me on the edge of my seat until the last 10 minutes.

Title Chihayafuru: Full Circle Spoiler
Why do I see Chihaya as the antagonist here? Maybe from Umezono's perspective. Unfortunately when Mizusawa gets…
Oe-san married "Tsukue-kun". That became clear when she left for Kyoto. If I remember correctly, while being surrounded by the others he takes an engagement ring out of his jacket - clearly meant for her as he admits they had been dating for a while now.

Title Chihayafuru: Full Circle Spoiler
I just finished the last ep just now.I think the last episode would've end well if they atleast let Muguru win…
I agree! After that build-up I was hoping they let her win.

But maybe she had to learn that winning is not everything and that all she had experienced up to this point had already made her a winner. Like having friends, fighting for a team, her family fully supporting her... The series was in some ways more realistic than the movies. It was not the typical "the underdog always wins at the end" story but much more nuanced.

It felt as if the series finale could go either way until the very end which made it quite nerve wrecking. I really had to go through that whole learning process as well while watching :D

I haven't seen the anime and thus, have no comparison. I started to watch the movie because of Nagano Mei and Satoh Takeru and I really enjoyed it. 10 minutes in and I got really strong Kenshin vibes while also feeling the urge to scream "Riiiitsuuu" at the screen :D Was really fun to watch and the end had me sobbing :'(

Title First Love Spoiler
Yae pretended to be a flight attendant walking around in a blue uniform and dragged her luggage around before…
I must say, I don't find it that confusing. Obviously, she knew from her son and Uta that Harumichi is somewhere in Icleand because Uta accidentally took a photo with him in it. So they encourage her to go look for him and since her son has found his own way, I don't think he minds his mother spending some time with her love. I can imagine that they spend at least several weeks/months in Iceland, depending on whether she gave up her job or not. And I guess you don't have to be super trained as flight attendant for flight within Iceland. I took a short flight once in Iceland and I don't think we had an attendant for that short amount of time. Harumichi could have asked for a favour and the airline might have just agreed. At least that would make sense to me.

I was a bit disappointed that he left Japan even when she told him that she liked him a lot. I would have expected him to stay with her, help her remember or whatever and then leaving Japan together. Instead there was more drama with her not being able to fly during Covid etc.

Yes, you might be right. When I search for it on Netflix Europe it states that the film will be available on June 18th. And I could set an reminder - ok as if I needed one :D
