Watched the first two episodes and I am hooked! The acting is spot on, everyone is playing their parts and the storyline is interesting, of course it won’t be developed until we get further into the series, but so far, it’s mysterious and fun! Dare I say it, I got hooked more in the first couple episodes of this drama than King: The Eternal Monarch, and with the cast that dramas got, THAT is saying something.
THAT NEW PROFILE PICTURE IS EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED IN LIFE RN, and I really hope he gets back into acting because he has sooo much potential, it hurts <3
I love Yeo Jin Goo, and I’m sad this role didn’t find him, but I think Ahn is also a great choice because he’s getting more lead roles and that’s what I wanttt <3
Darn it, I wanted at LEAST 16 episodes of this, but it’s a web drama so I understand why it’s only 6 episodes, but man ... It’s sooo good so far, I wish there would be more, Moonbin has a future as an actor ?
Do Bong Soon's outfits in Woman Do Bong Soon were dreadful .
I didn’t think they were that bad tbh, but they definitely needed some improvement lol, and at least they defined her character a little bit, I’ve seen some female kdrama leads with ten the most boring outfits too, and boring is worse than extravagant XD
YES. I had no idea they were gonna make a sequel! I’M SO READY!!!! It’s a shame Choi woo-sik dies in the previous film though, his character was hella interesting, excited to see what other twists and turns this film is gonna have
Started watching the first 2 ep, they’re really good so far! Also do you mind sparring your thoughts on which…
I did! I’m not usually picky when there are no subs on Viki, I dislike everyone that complains about subs even though the language clearly says if it’s %100 or not ... All in all, I watch kdramas on Viki with or without subs.
OMG. Couldn’t agree more with Arthdal Chronicles. I don’t know if its just me, but there are times where kdramas have this issue called “lazy writing,” it doesn’t usually happen at the beginning of a series, but always in the middle or the end, where your plot and characters get thrown out the door along with all the development they did or didn’t have; or just a crap ton of plot holes. Arthdal had this issue where it tried to be too Game of Thrones, it had potential at the START, but towards the end everything crumbled. IMO.
Vagabond is a double edged sword for me. I lovvveee SUZY AND LEE SEUNG-GI, I LOVED THEM IN GU FAMILY BOOK TOO, but I did feel towards the end of the series, the plot kind of shifted, and not in a good way. Let me also say I’m a big fan of Korean thrillers, especially tv shows (idk if you’ve seen Watcher with Seo Kang Joon, but WATCH it) so when I found out Vagabond was an action thriller I was excited. Towards the end of the show, it relayed to more of a drama than an action thriller, and that ending ... disappointed tf outta me. I know the thing about Korean dramas .. THERE ARE NEVER SECOND SEASONS, BUT EPISODES SPLIT INTO WHAT WOULD BE “TWO SEASONS,” so when it ended the same way as it started and we as the audience STILL didn’t know how Suzy got there, I was disappointed, I was thinking really? That’s it? If you’re gonna drop a cliffhanger you better continue the series for a few more episodes ..I’ve seen 50 kdramas or more, and I’ve seen this kind of ending before .. Doesn’t end well ...
Dude .. Don’t even talk to me about Melting Me Softly .. This was the first kdrama where I legit got bored after episode 5, and I’m the type of person to finish a drama completely and not stop halfway, even if the plot is astray. So that’s saying something. I’m a huge Ji Chang Wook fan myself (my profile pic can prove that lol), and when I heard he was gonna be in a drama after his military service I was thrilled! But there was so much wasted talent in this show .. I can’t. The plot was interesting but everything went to cliche to all over the place plot holes and the romance, I wasn’t feeling at all. Poor writing will screw over any kdrama and I’ve noticed it’s becoming a little consistent in the kdrama world. All in all he deserved better for his first drama back after serving.
I’m praying to god The King: The Eternal Monarch with Lee Minho isn’t going to have this issue of lazy writing. Goblin is amazing, so having the writers from that gives me hope, but I’ve been hopeful many times and then let down, so the best thing I can say is we’ll see what happens :) Lol I get passionate too, especially when someone else feels my pain lol.
i have been waiting so long for this that i am ridiculously excited but also horrified because ALL of my top anticipated…
Started watching the first 2 ep, they’re really good so far! Also do you mind sparring your thoughts on which dramas weren’t your liking? Because I’ve got a few myself that I didn’t like 100%, but they were highly anticipated as well ?
