I truly feel like he does best in thriller or action genre, the rom-coms he was in were okay, but these genres suit him best imo, I also feel like other than Pachinko he's gotten lackluster scripts lately for dramas, truthfully I haven't seen a good drama of his with good writing since Legend of the Blue Sea which was alllll the way in 2016, not counting Pachinko since it's technically an American drama. Hope he gets some good kdrama scripts in the future :/
