My god this show had one of the worst endings I’ve seen since TKEM, and one of the worst FL’s I’ve seen yet, no matter how much I love Kim So hyun ... man ... the amount of manipulation in this show was unbearable, and I still can’t believe we had to wait two years for this >:(
The utter absurdity of Gayoung being ugly and everyone agreeing with it, lol. Insane that this show was made in…
Lmao who said she was ugly? I’ll throw hands lol, she’s farrrrr from it, in the show she was represented as ugly though which was obviously untrue ... imo no one is ever ugly, just misunderstood to some extent, but I agree, if they were looking for an actress people wouldn’t classify as beautiful Gayoung wasn’t the right choice, she’s drop dead gorgeous irl lol <3 I agree with most of your points though, superficial beauty isn’t hot ...
that sounded very superficial, not everything has to be governed by a person's physique.and if there was a fl…
Wow now, cool your jets, I wouldn’t say they’re stupid, but I do think they need to think before they type, I agree with the previous comment, this post sounds heavily superficial ...
What this drama missing is a beautiful female lead. Yeo Jin Goo is the only attractive cast in this drama
Dude, these kinds of comments make me so upset, honestly ... It’s bad enough South Korea’s film industry (Hollywood’s as well) promotes a visual superficial society and you’re upset because there aren’t enough attractive people in the drama? Why did you bother to watch if you were looking for visuals? There is no romance tag anywhere on this drama page. Try watching True Beauty, there’s your visuals.
Uuuu I’m interested as to why you gave directing an F, I mean I can see why, but I want to hear your opinion…
That’s true! Wheat you said about screenwriters and directors adapting novels, I agree with that! It can be tricky sometimes, OMGGG LOVE STEPHEN CHOW MY GOD. Love his works ... in his case he’s the actor and the director and the writer very true! Scripting can be revised, but if your pacing is off by the final product, idk if its the directors fault lol that’s just imo, directors today are ONLY for money, completely agree we don’t have a single good director anymore, they definitely throw a lot of money away and it’s disheartening, in kdramas specifically I’ve seen money thrown away for the costume design, when the script needed more work or reshoots were needed -_____- makes me so mad ... SUCCESSFUL DIRECTORS PLAN SCENE BY SCENE SWEET BABY JESUS, SAY IT LOUDERRR YEAAAA.
Uuuu I’m interested as to why you gave directing an F, I mean I can see why, but I want to hear your opinion…
Lmaooo, I feel that way sometimes too XDD, it’s okay! It’s only the first two episodes at least for me, I can only stream two atm, so I can’t make a judgment, but so far ... I’m not really impressed you know? Like blown away? It’s just, I think the main FL isn’t cutting it for me (the main actress I have nothing against btw!), it’s like her character is written oddly and it feels uncomfortable when she’s around, like she’s bland, I hope that changes lol. OOF this is the problem I have with a lotttt of Chinese dubs, I hate the fact actors & actresses voices are dubbed, makes literally no sense to me and I hate it, The Untamed is the only drama so far that did a good job in dubbing the voices, even though I wish the og actors dubbed their own voices lmao, so weird to say ...
That’s a good point! For my mini review post I reviewed based off individual categories or overall directing, like everything separate. I wouldn’t classify directing as being everything overall, directing is more the “cuts,” between scenes and the camera shots, how the director wants the actors to feel in that scene etc. and watching over most departments. SCREENPLAY IS A WHOLE NOTHER CURVEBALL LMAO, they’re definitely separate. Screenplay is the characters, storyline, and pacing aspect of the story, you could have someone be he director and then someone else write the screenplay you know? That’s why it’s important to tell the difference between the two. The pacing of the show could be because of the writer and not the director, and it can be a pain in the ass sometimes ...
This is Vins’ first ML role indeed! I was so happy when I found out he was going to be in this, but the characters feel flat so far, this is just imo :’), this might be he first time I’ve seen like a male Mary Sue in a long time actually lmaoooo, I agree with that, and I think it’s fine to lack physicality, but mentally is mmmmm not too great, I’d actually like to see more male characters lack physicality, like strength etc, but mentally be intelligent and get themselves out of situations, so far this show is making Vin look weak, but not in a good way, if that makes sense, exactly as you described “a Mary Sue” -_____- ... I agree with shallow writing as well, especially this current episode with the bus scene ... ughhhhh
I personally feel this drama is quite underrated though. If you check out the music videos of this drama, the…
I personally think it’s far from underrated, I don’t classify mv’s to be a big part of a shows popularity, I count reviews, discussion feeds, and overall steaming platform data, like VIKI, Flower of Evil is soooo popular on VIKI, mainly because on viki you can stream internationally, on Netflix Flower of Evil isn’t available in the U.S. I’m guessing it’s exclusively for Netflix South Korea. The more streaming platform options you have available for a show, the more popularity the show will get, along with promotions like with cable or fun activities like what the YouTube channel The Swoon does, “the Jenga episodes” lol, this is just based off the data I’ve come across :’), but I do think some acting performances can be underrated at times! And I hope they both win some awards too, fingers crossed!
Really??? Did he accepted it that he likes her??? Romantically or just as a good friend???Pls tell me!!!
Lmao, EVERY SINGLE TIME, like don’t get me wrong, I partially get sad inside because there goes another person I can’t date irl XDDD, but I don’t spread sh— on the internet or harass the girl/guy they’re dating because I’m happy and sad at the same time, when push comes to shove, I’m happy for my fav idols getting in a relationship and making that commitment, takes a lot to come out and say “I’m together with someone” when you’re famous, massive respect to those who do, with Dispatch or TMZ finding out first lmaoooo
I agree with most of your points though, superficial beauty isn’t hot ...
Casting is fire, plot sounds interesting, gonna be good :’)
Lmaooo
