Despite the underwhelming mystery/villain arc, I gotta say that compared to most romcom Kdramas, Crazy Love has the best satisfying & unproblematic ending so far. You hear me? Iām not saying āone of the bestā, but āthe bestā here! š¤£
While I agree that CLās mystery/villain arc may not be the best, but it certainly is not an enough reason for me to reduce the rating to lower than 10/10.
Which episode did the leads start dating?any breakups or love triangle?
My Crazy Love summary/breakdowns šš¼šš¼šš¼
You may feel like the drama starts off slow have no idea where the story is heading to. But after ep4, the story picks up its pace.
EP1-EP4: Introductory & background (where the writer put details thatād help with the story progress later on).
EP4-EP7: The story gets funnier & crazier now that you have more clear ideas as to where the story is going to.
EP8-EP10: The romance arc starts (flirting/main couple falling in love stage).
EP11-EP13: The romance arc develop further (officially dating, Crazy Coupleās relationship changes from enemies to lovers - from wanting to kill each other to understanding each other).
EP13: āthe calm before the stormā, as the story takes a slow turn, filled with fluff but the msytery starts to be more unveiled (some might feel bored because they either expect more romance or more mystery unsolving).
EP14: āThe stormā. The peak/climax. The story takes a dark turn with the mysteries unveiled one by one. But the audience is still kept in the dark as to who the main villain is.
EP15: The MLās biggest character development.
EP16: āThe calm after the stormā. A sweet happy Ending! ā¤ļø
Hopes this helps you. š¤
Note: the comedy may not āclickā with you like some viewers, especially if youāre not used to ābreaking the 4th wall narrativeā and ādark humourā. But like some other vieweres, maybe youāll start finding the comedy funny when you rewatch after you know the direction of the story. š

Yes, they seem similar at first, but as the story progresses, theyāre very different.
Ngl, I was actually looking forward to ABP bcs of Kim Sejeong. I became her fan since āThe Uncanny Counterā (TUC). But turned out that drama isnāt for me.
Have been seeing how great the chemistry between her and TUC cast, but when I watched her and Ahn Hyoseop, I was disappointed. I didnāt see any chemistry from AHSās side. Maybe itās just me. š„²
What dramas are you watching/planning on watching after CL? Do you mind sharing here? āŗļø
Me: 1. āShowtime Begins!ā 2. āMr. Queenā (yeah, Iām late. But better late than never š¤§) 3. āAgain My Lifeā (I need to gather the mood 1st. Might start, might not) 4. āSh**ting Starsā (also need to gather the mood 1st bcs Iām not really a fan of Lee Sung Kyung)
You may see me on one of these dramasā MDL page comment section, but I wonāt be as active as I was with CL.

Donāt expect an answer from me, because I also dropped it. š
Itās too less mature (or should I say, āimmatureā? š) for my taste. If I were still a 20-year-old girl like 5 years ago, maybe Iād enjoy it(?), or maybe not (because my taste in Kdrama even since I was a teenager was quite heavy & brilliant in terms of scriptwriting. Not tryina brag here, honestly š)
Oh Iām gonna get a lot of hate if any ABP fans read this comment.
But I understand that itās a very very light drama.
but fr tho the woman who has a child showing that she was forced bc of money was so unrealistic she was literally…
At first I was angry at her too, but I donāt think she was actually happy doing it. It was shown a few times how she was struggling with money and a huge debt because of her divorce. No one āforcedā her, but she clearly was manipulated, and her money struggle is the reason that forced her to do it.
I would have to piggy back on what you said regarding the bedroom scenes. Not having that in this drama made the…
Thank you! š¤§
Yeah, sadly I was one of the viewers who expected a bed scene after that ladder kiss LMAO
But after having second thoughts, heck, I donāt think CL needs that! Itās unnecessary. Our Crazy Coupleās relationship is already wholesome. The transition from enemies-to-lovers, from them physically & mentally hurting each other, to understanding & supporting each other for better, for worse, in sickness and health, till death do them part. ā¤ļø
I think this drama conveys messages around character development, healing process & and second chances. Its story is not as dramatic as usual dramas.
Surprisingly, Iām okay with the redemption arc here. Because I think itās done quite well.
Iām just not satisfied with the mystery/villain part because it felt quite underwhelming, BUT need to remind myself again that this is a romcom drama thatās supposed to maintain its lightweight.

If you considered the fact that CL is originally a romcom so it needs to maintain its lightweight, then the underwhelming mystery/villain arc wouldnāt affect you that much. Itās still one of a kind, a refreshing romcom drama that defies clichĆ© tropes! š
Now let me cry in the corner of the room thinking we wonāt get to see them again from now on. š
