I'm actually glad there was no bed scene! typical old type kdrama :)))))) Just pure love ^^
I remember how we used to argue the first time you came here in this comment section, and then I always saw your comments that basically say “I’m a sucker for romance!”
And then you ended up liking this drama. Does it ever drive you crazy just how fast the night changes? 🤣
Jokes aside, I’m really glad you enjoyed this drama. 💕
It strikes me, that romance Kdramas nowadays are almost too used to having bed scenes, to the point that Kdrama audience starts to set an expectation around this matter.
I’ve been a Kdrama fan since 2010, having watched older Kdramas aired before 2010, and I’ve seen how Kdrama world evolves from having little skinship, to having a peck, to having one-sided kisses (dead fish FL), to having hot kisses (“What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”, “I’m Not A Robot”, “Crazy Love”), to having bed scenes (WWWSK, ABP, tho that one’s awkward lol).
This sudden thought pulled me out of my own fantasy/unnecessary expectations. Even without a bed scene, CL already has great storylines, tho the mystery & villain parts feel quite underwhelming for me (but I still love this drama! ❤️).
So on a serious note, I need to remind myself (and some of you, too! 😏) that a romance drama can be amazing on its own, or even better, with or without that kind of scenes. And CL is that kind of drama! ❤️
Heck, my top 3 favourite romcom Kdramas don’t even have lots of hot romantic scenes! See??
PS: maybe this happens because I’ve been in a Kdrama slump for too long. 🤧
Before the end of this show - which has become an obsession for me (and others here???), I would be interested…
Romcom recommendation (Modern Kdrama):
1. “I’m Not A Robot” - Romcom & scifi (tho it doesn’t really focus on the scifi part). It’s about trust & betrayal. A very light romcom, tho a little angst on the ML’s childhood past (I cried for him). The romance doesn’t start early so it doesn’t feel boring in the 2nd half. Acting is top-notch. Chemistry is over the roof. I’ve rewatched it 4 times. 😜
2. “Kill Me, Heal Me” - Romcom & psychological (multiple personality). Funny & sometimes sad. Mind-blowing plot twists (I think someone like you would take notes & analyses the plot and theories 🤣). Some viewers don’t like the FL’s high-pitched voice (but to me, that’s an absurd reason to dislike a drama), contains noble idiocy BUT if you’re okay with the rest of the story, that trope won’t affect you that much. I’ve rewatched this twice. My whole family loves it.
3. “Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha” (HomeCha) - Light & warm. The life in the village gives you warm feelings. The romance is cute. The ML also has some painful past.
4. “Reply 1988” - About family & friendship. Funny & nostalgic. Bestfriends-to-lovers romance. Had a hard time moving on from this drama (I legit cried watching the last episode bcs I really didn’t want it to end 😭).
5. “Showtime Begins” - Just started airing but the plot looks promising. I heard it’s similar to CL in terms of the craziness! 🤔😋
6. “Reply 1997” - Also family & friendship. Bestfriends-to-lovers.
7. “Thirty But Seventeen” - I used to regret watching this late. It turned out to be very good and left a deep impression in me. Also had a hard time moving on from this one. 🥲
8. “True Beauty” - Light & cute. Revolves around teenagers, but has maturity in the story. Has some suicide content but only a small part of the story. A Webtoon adaptation, but turned out it’s better than the Webtoon itself (the Webtoon creator lost track of the original plot premise). Trust me, I’ve been reading the Webtoon since it was first released. 😂
9. “A Poem A Day” - Calming, very funny & light, cute romance. The ML is arrogant & cold but also kind, mature & responsible (a dream guy). So underrated! Watched this twice. 😆
10. “Mad for Each Other”
11. “Pinocchio” - The story grips you with the mystery. The antagonists are very frustrating at times. It depicts the reality of journalism/media.
12. “Her Private Life”
13. “Master’s Sun” - Supernatural, enemies-to-lovers, has some scary ghosts but not that scary to me.
14. “Top Star Yoo Baek” - I don’t know why people slept on this underrated gem. I found it by accident and I loved it so much. Similar to “HomeCha”.
15. “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon” - Sweet, cheesy & cute. Also a mix of genres. Has a lot of fillers but still enjoyable.
16. “Strongest Deliveryman” - An inspiring drama. Has side couples. I like all couples in this drama. The FL is annoying to some people but she’s bearable to me.
17. “Your House Helper” - Not many people know this non-cliché drama. It’s not dramatic since it’s slice-of-life. Romance is not the big focus but the chemistry is great. I learned a lot of cleaning stuff here hehe. 😁
This drama actually turned out to be more serious than we thought. It conveys deep messages in quite dramatic but also realistic manners (IDK how to explain so I wish someone could help me in the replies 🤣).
But when viewers started getting too serious with overthinking & overanalysing theories and all, the writer played with their minds again and again. What could be more dramatic ended up in casual or realistic ways. 😂
It’s a torture to watch Crazy Love ongoing. However, it’d be less fun to watch it completed. The fanbase just makes the experience better, and cooler. ❤️

But in G rated. 🙂
If they gave us less BSY’s scenes, or added one more episode, it’d be amazing.
Or am I asking for too much? 🥲
