No you’re not biased! I always think the same with this drama. Nothing unnecessary or draggy so far, IMO.
I’m actually frustrated that some people only judge this drama by the first two episodes and give low ratings just because the early episodes are “boring”. 🙄
CL is definitely a one of a kind, unique, the kind of Kdrama that makes us wish there were more Kdramas like this. The kind of drama that we’ll find ourselves go back to rewatch it again and again.

Other than KJW, I think Yoo Seung Ho is a good kisser too. His best kissing is in “I Am Not A Robot”, another great romcom with high rewatch value, IMO.

Oh no, I’m actually not here for KJW, although I am indeed his fan. But I’m mostly here for the drama. I wouldn’t be a drama fan if the story isn’t good, even when I’m a fan of the cast members. :)

If you like thriller, I’d suggest “Kill Me Heal Me”. That drama was a phenomenal back then. And the writer also played with our minds. And that was the first time I joined Kdrama theories discussion. Watching it ongoing was pure torture 😭😂
Another one is “I’m Not A Robot”. A sci-fi. It’s light, cute and sweet (and also, there’s a hot kissing scene lol). I think you’re gonna like it. The rewatch value is also high for me (4 times of rewatching hehe) 😋
If CL ends on a high note (HOPEFULLY), it’ll join Kill Me Heal Me and I’m Not A Robot as my top 3 favourite romcom Kdramas.
It’s fine not to be interested in some celebrities. Not everyone share the same taste, and that’s totally fine. 💕
And I agree with you on BSY ending like that would be satisfying & disappointing at the same time because as much as I want her to disappear, I also wanna see her get the right payback!

I totally agree, but remember there are also romcom Kdramas with dark turn/twists in the end? E.g. Crash Landing On You, Kill Me Heal Me, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha
All these dramas were set only as romcom + drama, but they didn’t fail to play with viewers’ minds & emotions, and I think it’s for the sake of “keeping viewers on their toes”, like how we’re feeling with CL as the story progresses.
So although there’s a big possibility for CL’s writer to stay with her solid writing till the end, we can’t push away the fact that there’s also a possibility of CL taking a dark turn somewhere somehow in the rest 4 episodes.

Since you mentioned that you’re new to Kdramas, I think “Kill Me Heal Me” is another Kdrama that suits an analytical person like you. It’s highly recommended especially for someone who likes romcom, drama, mystery & psychological genres. The writer is also creative, always keeping twists up her sleeves. Give that drama a try. 😊

I’m trying not to overthink things when CL is supposed to be a light romcom drama (oh however, it’s not that light so far 🤣)
I can’t help but trust the writer. Because remember in ep 8 after NGJ exposed his fake amnesia to LSA?
When LSA was begging for his forgiveness, he said: “You all say the same, boring things. You know I’m not a pushover who forgives people.”
And I also noticed that the writer always put sarcastic dialogues, like mocking cliché dramas multiple times.
In ep4, when NGJ was telling Kangmin that he has no amnesia: “Can I tell you something funny? The thing is… that people think anyone can have amnesia like catching a cold. They watch too many soaps (drama). Amnesia is so common in those shows.“
So we might have a chance to see the writer’s consistent momentum till the end. Let’s hope that CL will always be unpredictable & different from cliché dramas, just like how it’s been so far!🤞🏼

Considering the writer’s writing style now that we’ve come this far and we still only have small pieces of clues after 12 episodes, I think this is her intention - to keep us engaged and she’ll drop bigger bombs (hints/twists) in later episodes. She wanted to play with our minds; she’s smart.
And if your theory about SJo turns out to be true, holy moly, I think you should write scripts too! Because I am sooo gonna watch your shows! 🤣
