This drama deserves a lot more attention and love... Would have done super well if it was on Netflix...
Totally! Iāve been there and I canāt count how many times I was disappointed that it happened to me.
But now that Iām more experienced as a Netflix subscriber, Iām more careful and know when to drop a show when I start to feel like itās not gonna be good in the end.
Iām not gonna be hyping dramas that donāt deserve the hype. š
Donāt worry about that. This is very safe to watch. š

My advice before you start watching this drama:
You might find ep1-3 a bit slow (to me, itās slow but not boring. To some other people, itās boring), but donāt leave yet. Stay. It keeps getting better with each episode. The first 2-3 episodes are where the writer put important details that help with the storylines progress in later episodes. š
If youāre experienced in watching dramas, now you must already know that itās unfair to give low ratings and bad reviews only after the drama just started, not giving enough time for plot & character development.
And you must already know that there are lots of Kdramas with a non-boring/good start, but they become boring and lose their charms later.
You must also know that itās better to look beyond just negative reviews and bad ratings.
If you chose to focus on the negative, why not try reading the positive reviews too before making your own decision? Thereās a lot more positive comments than the negative ones now, showing how this drama gets better every new episodes. š
If you decide to give CL a chance, I hope youāll enjoy the journey. š
I feel like this is kind of unique, it's not really something I've seen in kdrama before.
Ahh A Business Proposal is totally not for me. š It started good but I lost interest after a few episodes.
Other than Crazy Love, I think my top fav romcom Kdramas would be āKill Me Heal Meā & āIām Not A Robotā. These 3 dramas have high rewatch value.
By checking out your MDL watchlist, I figured youāve watched so many Kdramas. But you havenāt watched āMasterās…
One more enemies-to-lovers Kdrama rec: āSecret Loveā (2013) but itās heavy
My 1st advice before you start watching Thai dramas: Watch them with an open mind. If you find some scenes uninteresting/unnecessary, just skip/fast-forward.
Enemies-to-lovers/hate-to-love Thai dramas: 1. Kluen Cheewit (can skip the second coupleās scenes) - melo 2. To Me, Itās Simply You (my all-time fav, itās just simply good) - romcom 3. My Sassy Psychic (also my all-time fav) - romcom 4. My Secret Bride - romcom 5. My Husband In Law - romcom 6. My Forever Sunshine - romcom 7. Mae Krua Kon Mai - romcom 8. Full House Thai version (much better than the Korean version) - romcom 9. Jark Sadtroo Soo Hua Jai/From Enemy to Heart - melo 10. Fah Mee Tawan (the ML carries the whole show) - melo 11. Hua Jai Sila - melo 12. Sapai Jao Sua - romcom 13. Game Sanaeha (I have like love-hate feelings for this drama. Itās full with ridiculous misunderstandings but the chemistry is just so good LOL) - melo
Just finished ep 1 and it's somewhat intriguing, does it get better and should I continue? There's some other…
Yes it just keeps getting better and better with each episode. Donāt judge only by the 1st episode!
Itās really worth binge-watching & also rewatching.
Early episodes might be slow to some people but thatās where the writer include important details thatād help with the storylines progress in later episodes.
Iām kinda mad at Twitter folks right now. Look how much their negative comments have affected other peopleās thoughts who are wondering whether to watch Crazy Love or not.
Itās totally absurd! Most of the negative comments came from the ones who donāt even understand the whole context of this drama, who donāt even watch it & who dropped it only after the 1st or 2nd episode (no offence).
Although thereās a lot more positive comments than the negative ones now, but the impacts of those negative comments still linger till now.
Twitter users be hyping overrated shows but choosing to shit on shows they donāt even know much. I mean, whatās new?
Really i can't seem to find the particular comment?
Thereās one from Disney+ Indonesia. They said ā16 + 1 special episodeā
But as I scroll through other comments, some mentioned that we already got a special episode before the premiere of ep 1, which basically an introduction to CL characters
Whatever. I donāt wanna set high hopes. I just care about the ending. š

Disney+ & KBS on the other hand⦠their marketing team needs to fix their sins. š

Thatās all for now. Sorry this is so long. š

TBH, Iām starting to think that CL is gonna be the kind of romcom drama thatās superior to other romcom dramas, yknow what I mean?
But we donāt know the ending yet so Iām trying to brush off this kind of thought.
So we might get a special episode later. If it turns out to be true, I swear Iām gonna scream. š
Thai dramas are also rich with enemies-to-lovers tropes. But if you only wanna stick with Kdrama, I wonāt share Thai drama recommendations. š
I hate amnesia tropes too, but the writer of this drama made the amnesia aspect something different and interesting.
Not only she didnāt admit to & apologise for what she did, but she chose to manipulate not just NGJ, but also his fiancĆ©e.

Disappointed but not surprised. š¤·š»āāļø
And a lot of the times, we shouldnāt rely much on ratings. Do you know how many overrated and underrated Kdramas out there?
